(Last chapter before the epilogue)

Katie;
I open my eyes, my ears are ringing, and liv is standing over me, my head pounds even worse than before, but I manage to sit up, "what about the text messages from caleb to risa, and annies last dairy entry?" I ask. "I sent the them to risa to lure her in, and made the dairy note, it's was easy" she smiles. My eyes burn but I look around the room, I don't see Caleb and panick rushes through me, she sees the look in my eyes, "oh don't worry, why would I kill the love of my life?" I cringe at her words, I was the one who was in love with Caleb, maybe she was too, but he wasn't in love with her, probably not me either but he despises liv. I think back to the times when me and liv were friends, before it all went down, I remember it like it was yesterday.
•FLASHBACK•
Liv giggles as she hits me with a pillow, real feathers come out and her face becomes shocked, "they make pillows with feathers like in the movies?" She asks, she gets excited when I tell her yes, they do. And announces she's going to make her mom buy her some. She sets the pillow down and sinks down into the furry pink chair in my room, "sooooo any cute boys you like?" She chuckles and I blush. I've never told anyone I like Caleb, but it seemed like a good time. "Well I kind of like Caleb, actaully I really like him" I blush. I expect liv to laugh at me or agree that he's cute, but instead her eyes get dark and mad "liv are you okay?" I ask. She snaps out of it, but her eyes are still mad "I need to go, my stomach hurts" she says, clutching her stomach. Later when she's gone I want to beleive she just had a stomach ache but I know something else is up.
•END OF FLASHBACK•
I look up at liv, she doesn't expect me to do anything I guess, because my hands aren't tied up, but I do, I kick her in the stomach, then in the head. She's out, long enough for me to grab her gun. She stays out, I point the barrel towards her head, I shudder, I have a gun to my best friends head, today has been crazy. I have flashbacks, of when we first met, when we told eachother we'd be best friends for ever, I pull the trigger, the bang rings out, there's a pain in my shoulder but I ignore it. "KATIE NOO" Caleb yells, my head snaps up as I realize he thinks I've been shot. I run to his voice, he's locked in a room banging on the door, in fear of him hitting me thinking I'm liv I yell through the door. "It's me Caleb!! It's katie! I killed her its over!" I fiddle with the latch on the door before unlocking it. I open it to see him standing there, he hasn't changed much, he's a bit taller, and if anything more handsome. His eyes make me want to melt, and I realize how long I've been staring, how long we've both been staring. Before he moves so quickly I cant react, hips lips are on mine, moving in sink, the best kiss I've ever had, my mind clicks and I silently curse as I have to break it, "hayley!" I yell, he stands for a moment before we both busy through the cabin and out the back door to the lake. We look in the water, and all around, careful to be quite so we don't scare her, she's no where to be seen, that's when he falls to his knees, breaking down, tears stream down his face and mine too, she's gone, he sobs "she's gone!" His hands dig into the dirt, mud everywhere, the rain pours, that's when I see it, the brown curls flowing in the wind, she's wet, shes shivering, and she's crying, but she's alive.
We're alive.
