Chapter 5

Aurora's P.O.V  3 days later

"Scott, don't go, please." I begged as he tried leaving me with Brett well he went to the school, to find Theo. It was late and I have a terrible feeling. "Aurora, I have to, I'll be fine." He said and left, "I'm scared Brett." I said my eyes watering up, "Aw, no, don't cry, please." He said hugging me. "Okay, okay, I won't." I said calming myself down, "Let's just watch movies, keep your mind off of it." He comforted, I nodded. "Thank you so much." I smiled at him as he sat down with me, "Stop thanking me, babe." He said, I nodded leaning into his side. I sighed deeply and payed attention on the movie.

"I'm going to go get a drink." I told him, he nodded pausing the movie. It's been a couple hours already so I'm starting to grow nervous again, I know it's a super moon and everything is amplified and that's why Scott left me with Brett, he knows he has complete control over himself. I yelled falling to my knees, "No, no, make it stop!" I shouted covering my ears, I felt someone get down next to me but I didn't pay any attention, "It hurts! Make it stop! Please!" I kept shouting.

"Aurora, listen to me, breathe baby." I heard faintly. I cried placing my hands over my ears again, "Please, please." I pleaded letting Brett pull me into him. I wanted to scream so much, my eyes widened, "The library! Take me there please!" I said crying to Brett, I'm starting to be able to control it more, "Please. I'm fine now we need to go." I told him standing up as quickly as possible, he nodded grabbing his keys, "Come on." He said grabbing my hand.

As soon as he stopped the car I was already running, "Aurora!" I heard him shouting after me, I ignored him and kept running, I froze seeing Mason trying to resuscitate Scott, I couldn't hold it in anymore, I screamed, like Lydia. Mason stopped and covered his ears, I stopped. I stood up and ran to Scott, I heard someone running in, I looked and saw my mom and Brett running in. My mom started doing chest compressions on Scott, "He's dead. He's dead." I cried out once again feeling Brett hold me close, he shushed me rubbing my back. "Roar, Scott... Roar!" My mom yelled slamming down on his chest, I cried of relief as he did so, he roared like the alpha that he is. "Oh my god." I said hugging Brett. He sighed into my hair pulling me up with him.

"He's okay, he's okay." He soothed me. I pulled away and looked at Scott who was sitting there looking confused, "Where's Liam?" Scott asked looking around, I looked at Mason, "Hayden died, he's with her." Mason said quietly. I nodded sadly, "Why do you ask, Scott?" I asked him looking at him, Mason and Scott looked at me sadly, "Um." Mason hummed standing up. "Somebody tell me what's going on!" I said looking between them, my mom looked confused too.

"He did this to me, Theo trapped us in here with mountain ash." Scott answered slowly knowing I will freak out. "Liam! He couldn't do that!" I said in denial, Scott looked at me sympathetically. No, Liam couldn't do that....

*next morning at school*

"Hey, baby girl." Brett greeted me trying to cheer me up. Of course I was still mad and upset, my best friend basically killed my brother. I saw Mason talking to Liam, he saw me coming and turned Liam to face me, "Aurora I'm sorry, I didn't know what I was doing!" Liam pleaded, I shook my head, "It's going to take a lot more than that." I snapped and walked back to Brett and my brother, "Aurora." Scott said as I walked past them, I ignored both of them calling me and kept rushing to the bathroom, I don't want them to see me cry... Again.

"Sorry." I mumbled after I ran into someone, "Aurora?" Theo asked grabbing my arm, "Not now." I said trying to pull my arm back, "What's wrong?" He asked thinking I didn't know he was part of last nights events. "You want to know what's wrong!" I spat at him, he looked at me wide eyed, "You, you're what's wrong! All you've been doing is hitting on me since you got here and then you trapped Liam and Scott together in the library on a super moon, Scott was dead for fifteen minutes! That's what's wrong!" I said and pulled my arm away from him, Scott, Brett and Stiles were all surrounding us.
