A/N: I couldn't remember where Scott's dad lives and I really hope it was San Francisco lololol

Aurora's P.O.V

I woke up this morning with a completely different attitude about everything. "Aurora?" Scott asked knocking on my door, "Yeah?" I replied making him come in, "Dad is leaving to go back to San Francisco." He said getting my attention, "Oh." I mumbled biting my lip. "Are you gonna be okay?" He asked sitting next to me, I buried my head in his chest and cried slightly, "Yeah," I paused taking a shaky breath. "This is really off topic but I need to get it off my chest." I added on wiping my eyes, "What is it?" He asked leaning back to look at me.

I took another breath, "I really want to be with Brett like all the time, I mean obviously I do but it's like I'm always with him now and I feel like it's not good for me but if I'm not with him I'm basically alone." I explained, I started chewing on my lip again, a nervous habit I have. "Just explain it to him like that, you don't want to break up right?" He asked, "No, gosh no, I love him you know that." I answered immediately, he smiled at me, "And he loves you so he's going to want to do whatever he can to make you happy and if that means you guys just spend a little less time together than that's what he'll do." Scott explained watching a small smile form on my face, "You're the best brother ever." I replied and kissed his cheek, "Now let's go say bye to dad." I sighed.

My eyes watered up as I hugged my dad goodbye, despite how aggravated I got well he was here I still care about him, he is my dad. "Bye dad." I whispered as I stood back and let Scott say goodbye.

------------------------------------
Three days later

"Are you sure you guys are okay?" Scott asked as I watched Brett completely ignore me from across the hall. "I don't know anymore..." I trailed off.

* "Brett, before I start I want you to know I'm not saying I want to break up." I explained as he sat down on the couch, "Aurora, you're making me nervous, what is it?" He asked as I paced in front of him. "I love you, so, so, so much but I just feel like we need to spend less time together." I said, his face showed his confusion, "But you just said you wanted to spend more time together." He replied nervously. "I-I just feel like I spend so much time with you and I don't know if it's good for me." I sighed, my eyes glazing over with tears as he started heading for the door. "Where are you going?" I asked, he paused in the doorway, "You want to spend less time together so I'm leaving." He said before slamming the door on his way out. *

"He did that?" Lydia asked after I explained what happened, we were in the library for our free period. "Yeah." I mumbled under my breath as I watched him walk into the library. "I um I need a minute." I said before rushing out of my seat, I rushed out walking right next to Brett, I could tell he was following me. "Aurora." He sighed grabbing my wrist after catching up with me. "What?" I whispered not daring to look up at him, I would lose it. "Baby Girl, look at me." He whispered gently putting his hand under my chin.

"Don't call me that." I said finally lifting my eyes to look at him. "Why not?" He asked shocked, "You love it when I call you that." He added on, I shook my head, "I need a break Brett, I need time to fix myself so I don't keep going to you with all of my problems." I sighed, a tear slipping out. "Please don't, I'm sorry about how I reacted." He begged. "Brett, I can not do this right now." I replied as the tears started flowing freely. "I promise, we can get back together when I'm happy again." I told him as I started walking back to the library, "Bye, Brett." I whispered looking back at him.

I squeezed my eyes shut as I saw his eyes glazing over from what I said.

"Lydia." I whispered as I got back to her in the library, my voice cracking. She whipped her head around to see me, "What happened?" She asked standing up to hug me, "I broke up with him." I cried trying to stay quiet, "Come on." She said pulling me to the bathroom. "Did you want to tell me why?" She asked rubbing her hands up and down my arms, "I told him I needed to fix myself so I would stop going to him for all of my problems." I stuttered out, my breathing becoming more ragged. "I'm sorry." She smiled sympathetically.

I heard a knock on the bathroom door, "Aurora are you in there?" I heard Scott ask, I peeked my head out of the door, "How did you know I was in here?" I asked not bothering to wipe my tears, "Brett-" I cut him off as a sob escaped my lips at the sound of his name. I nodded for him to continue, "He asked me to come check on you because he saw you come in here with Lydia, he told me what happened." Scott explained, he watched painfully as I stepped out of the bathroom wrapping my arms around him. Immediately I felt him hug me back.

"I'm sorry." He mumbled kissing the top of my head. I nodded into his chest, "Come on." He whispered pulling me along, "It's a half day, we're going home." He added on as I looked confused at him.

--------------------------------------

"Do you think I did the wrong thing?" I asked Scott randomly as we ate dinner. "No, you need to take care of yourself so you can be genuinely happy in a relationship." He replied, I nodded not feeling the need to say anything and finished my food. "I'll be in my room." I mumbled after I cleaned up my plate. "Aurora, wait." He said catching my attention, "Yeah?" I asked looking at him as I heard the urgency in his voice. "Well um we all have to go do something tonight so I might not be back until it's really late. I just don't want you to worry about us." He explained, "Brett's going to be there?" I asked knowingly, he nodded, "Be careful." I said really meaning "Don't let anything happen to Brett." He nodded knowing what I really meant.

"I love you." I said hugging him quickly before he left, "I love you too." He replied smiling before he ventured out the door.

I went to bed shortly after, I have an extremely bad feeling about them going out there tonight. I shook it off thinking it was just me over reacting.

-----------------------------
2:30 am

4 missed calls from Stiles
2 missed calls from Liam
1 missed call from Mason

I woke up seeing this on my phone screen, immediately I checked and saw my volume had been turned off, "Pick up." I whispered as I called Stiles, "Hello?" He answered tiredly, "Stiles! What's wrong why did everyone call me so many times?" I asked urgently, "Where are you I'll come get you." He stated sounding more awake, "I'm at my house, what's going on?" I asked starting to really worry. "It's-" he cut himself off, "I'll tell you when I get there, I'll be there in ten." He said before hanging up.

I jumped out of bed, putting real clothes on and brushing my hair before grabbing shoes, my phone and my phone charger. I rushed downstairs hearing Stiles jeep pull up, "Tell me now." I said in a serious tone as Stiles lead me to his jeep. "It's Scott and-" "Brett." I cut him off, he nodded glancing at me before looking back at the road, "Yeah." He whispered. "What happened?" I asked realizing we were going to Deaton's. "They had went on there own and when we found them they were passed out, it was Wolfsbane." He explained.

"How are they?" I asked, I've been firing question after question at him. "Scott's doing okay." He paused, "Brett, he's not looking too good." He added on quietly. I chewed my lip, "How bad?" I mumbled looking out the window. "Deaton said he could take days to get better, if he gets better." He told me, "If?!" I shrieked startling him, he nodded, "I'm sorry." He said pulling up to Deaton's. I jumped out before the car even stopped completely.

I ran inside making my presence known to everyone who was in the small waiting room, I completely ignored them and went where I knew Brett and Scott would both be. I almost fell to my knees as I took in their appearances, Scott looked like he was just sleeping but Brett - my Brett was pale, dark circles under his eyes making his eyes look sunk into his face, breathing shallow. My first love, he looked like he was dying right in front of my eyes.
