"So, I heard about your adventures with Cat Noir yesterday. Were you scared?" Adrien asked, a smirk plastered on his face.

"Me, scared? Pfft, it was a dream. I mean you're a dream... I mean in your dreams! Oh, this is a nightmare..." Marinette rambled on, turning into a flustered mess while she face-palmed herself.

"Ok... so, what did you think about Cat Noir? Was he awesome?" Adrien asked, silently laughing on the inside because he was asking about himself.

"I mean sure, yeah, but not as awesome as you of course because who could be you're the most awesome of awesome!" She quickly said, sheepishly crossing her legs.

"So, that's a... yes? Hmm..." Adrien gently patted her shoulder, giving an approving nod as he made his way over to his locker.

The spotted kwami popped up and hovered over her shoulder. "You do realize you just blabbered about how awesome Adrien is, right?" Tikki said, noting the girl's shocked expression.

Ignoring her comment, Marinette gave a faint gasp. "He touched my shoulder... I'm never washing my jacket again." She breathed, squealing lightly.

"Oh girl, you have got to get better control over your emotions..." Tikki said, giving a disapproving shake of her head.

-Time skip to the evening-

Later that night, that was all Marinette was thinking about. "He touched me... he touched my shoulder..." Marinette dreamily sighed.

"You're thinking about him, aren't you?" Tikki asked as she noticed Marinette looking into space.

"Yes..." Marinette dreamily sighed, leaning her head on her arms. "I can't believe he talked to me, I mean, could you believe it? Who would talk to clumsy Marinette?" She giggled, as she imagined herself basically face-planting into the ground every time she tried to talk to someone.

"Well, how about you go talk to him?" Tikki asked, staring into Marinette's deep, blue eyes.

Marinette gasped. "I'll never be able to have a conversation with him, Tikki! I would get so nervous... how will I ever get over my anxiety?!" She fretted, curling up into a little ball.

Tikki giggled. "Well, it's simple, really. Just ask him if he wants to go to the movies with you, and then wait for his answer!"

"Tikki, remember what I said literally 5 seconds ago?! I can't talk to him without transforming into a stuttering mess!"

"My dear Marinette, I never said you had to talk, my darling. Just text him!" Tikki said, glowing with happiness.

Marinette's mouth quickly was submerged by an enormous smile. She grabbed her kwami and started spinning around in circles. "Yes yes yes! That is a wonderful idea! Thank you so much Tikki!" Marinette squealed, her eyes bright with hope at succeeding with the task.

"Hehe, keep it down Mari, your parents might hear yo-"

"Marinette sweetie, what are you screaming about?"

"Oh, nothing mom! Sorry!"

"Ok, keep it down..."

"Phew..." Marinette stops spinning in circles and goes to get ready for bed, placing Tikki in her little kwami bed, but not before giving her a triumphant smile.

-TIEM SKIIIIIPPPP-

Marinette quickly ran out the door, a bagel held hostage in her mouth. "Bye mhm, bye ded!" Marinette shouted, her words muffled as she flew out of her house and started dashing towards school. In the middle of the journey, Tikki popped her head out of her purse. "Come on, Marinette! Just text him already!" Tikki peered at Marinette with daring eyes, brows knitted on her face. "O-Ok! I'll try!"

"Good..." Tikki says, slowing sinking her head until she was concealed in the folds of the purse. Marinette sighed, and whipped out her phone.

Hey Adrien

Hi Marinette

Sure. Pick you up at 6:00?

Yup. See you then :)

Cya :)

"YESSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Marinette jumped up and down, happiness bursting out of her. "Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh ye- OH HI ALYA!" Marinette flushed red when she noticed had walked up to her, containing her laughter.

"I think you have some explaining to do, girl."

-One lovely explaining session later-

"You did WHAT?!" Alya shrieked as Marinette told her the details. "Girl, you are on fire today!" Alya smirked when she saw Marinette's rose colored cheeks. "I think I might just come to spy on you..."

"Ah, Alya! Don't you dare!"

"What? Gotta make sure my best friend doesn't embarrass herself. Plus, I get free popcorn..."

"'Free' popcorn?"

"Yeah, since you'll be paying for it!"

"Not cool, Alya..."

The girls both went into a fit of laughter, playfully bumping each other.

Oh what a lovely day Marinette would have... :)
