Tia's pov

I saw a small person running towards us yelling,

"Wait! WAIT!" Bilbo! He came back! I pointed this out to Kili. Kili and I have been friends for a very long time. I know it is kind of weird, a dwarf and an elf friends. But I couldn't ask for a better friend. Plus he's really hot for a dwarf. I might have a minor crush... Ok, maybe it isn't so minor... But back to Bilbo.

"Woah" I said and stopped my pony. Kili did the same, along with a few others. Bilbo ran up to Balin and said,

"I signed it!" Balin took the contract and inspected it with a pocket-glass. He then smiled at Bilbo.

"Everything appears to be in order. Welcome, Master Baggins, to the company of Thorin Oakenshield." The dwarves cheered. Thorin, However, didn't look too impressed.

"Give him a pony." Bilbo immediately started protesting.

"No, no, no, no, that--that won't be necessary, thank you, but I--I'm sure I can keep up on foot. I-- I--I've done my fair share of walking holidays, you know. I even got as far as Frogmorton once--WAGH!" Bilbo's speech is cut off as two of the dwarves rode alongside him and picked him up from behind to put him on a pony. Bilbo was riding the pony and looking quite terrified. The pony neighed and tossed its head, making him quite uncomfortable.

I giggled, then spotted a figure hidden in the bushes. I drew my bow. Kili noticed and did the same.

"What tis it?" Fili, his brother, asked.

"Someone's in the bushes. GANDALF!." Gandalf, being the closest to the bush, hit the bush.

"Owch! Gandalf!" A girl's voice replied.

"Ruby?" He said astonished. A small hobbit girl stepped out. She had sandy coloured hair and warm brown eyes.

"You know her?" I ask.

"Yes." He said.

"This is Ruby Sandybacks and she should be home in Frogmorton." Ruby blushed. Her face that was pale only moments before was now completely red.

"Well, I heard you were in town, so I came to visit. But when I got here, you were gone. Then I saw Bilbo rushing and saying he was going on an adventure, so I followed him. I always wanted to go on an adventure! Please Don't tell mum and dad! They will be so upset! They think I'm in Bree with my cousins!"

"You don't have any cousins in Bree."

"Exactly! Please let me come along! Please! Please! Please! Please! Please!" She started holding her breath.

"What are you doing?!" I exclaimed.

"She's holding her breath to make me feel bad and say yes." Gandalf replied with a sigh. Ruby's face was starting to turn purple.

"Okay. But stay out of trouble." She gasped and said, "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She looked at me.

"Whoa! Are you an elf?!" I smiled.

"Yes. Welcome to the company of Thorin Oakenshield, Ruby Sandybacks."
