Bzz, Bzz
I groaned, "5 more minutes..."
Bzz, Bzz
I groaned loader, "Do you ever let me sleep in clock?" I sat up and stretched while wacking my clock off my desk, a, oh, what do you call it, - a habit I have in the morning. Let's just say I'm not a morning person...
I slipped on my clothes and stumbled down the stairs as I struggled to put on my backpack only to be greeted by the coldness downstairs. "Ugh, why is it so cold..." I mumbled as a shiver ran down my spine. I decided to skip breakfast as I headed straight to the front door to be greeted by snow. Snow? In spring? I think not. Who's heard of snow in spring? (Actually, it does snow in spring in some places...) I trudged through the snow as I walked to school, nearly freezing to death....
"G'morning there, Blossom!" I groaned as I see the vice principal, standing outside my high school as many students scurred inside to the warmth of heaters. "It's Sakura, my name is Sakura. It's not that hard to pronounce..." He gives a low chuckle, knowing how much his nickname (is it considered a nickname if it's just my name translated to English?) for me annoyed me so. " I know, I know, I just can't help but pick on ya. Now hurry up inside before you freeze T'death!" I chuckled and shook my head, 'he's always the same....' I thought as I ran/stumbled my way into the small high school.
Brrrriiiinnggg
The school bell rang just as I sat down in my seat, directly in the back by the window. And, right on time, Mr. 'Man of my dreams' sat right next to me. I turn to the side and wave to him, but ,like usual, he doesn't respond. Oh well, he's still perfect. I bet he just doesn't know how to respond.... yeah, I'll go with that... A long, slender woman enters the room and fixes her self at the front desk, ready to start her class, but, unable to focus, I decide to daze out the window. Minutes pass, than hours, until finally, finally the lunch bell rings and students file out quickly. Well, all except me and Mr. Perfect. I was still looking for my pen (which I guess had fallen down during the lesson) and Mr. Perfect was gathering his stuff. After a few seconds, he looks down at me, "What are you doing?" I gave out a small laugh, "Im looking for my pen, I can't find it..." He stares at me for a bit, than shrugs, "Not my problem, but hey, what's your name? I've never caught it before." *insert mental jab* "Uh, S-Sakura, you really don't know my name even though we've sat by each other all year?" He shrugs, "Guess not, but do you know my name?" I gave a little 'aha' as I finally found my pen, "Adam, right?" He nods and gives a small, awkward smile, "Yep, that's my name..." *awkward silence* "Welp, I'm going to get going!" He says as he exits the room. OK, fangirl initiate in 3, 2, 1... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I JUST TALKED TO MR. PERFECT ADAMS!!! MAN OF MY DREAM ADAMS!!!!!! * Screams internally* I walk blissfully down the hallway, with my lunchkit in hand as I meet with my friends. But, alas, just like any normal girl, that was my only highlight of the day and Adam didn't talk to me for the rest of the day, like usual....
I sigh as I plop onto my bed, "Finally!!! Schools over!" I relaxed on the bed until I finally stood up to walk to my typewriter, yes a typewriter. Now wait a second, I still use my laptop and phone to write, but at times I just like to use my typewriter. So, I'm not some old fashioned girl (not like that would be bad). Anyway- I headed to my typewriter and continued where I left off last in my book. Of course, like the rest of my secret books I've made, there's magic and romance. I tend to write a lot of books like that. "With jet black hair and amber eyes...." I yawned and began to write through the day. Soon after, I took a break, did my homework, and decided to call it a night.
As the sun became dormant, I layed in bed and whispered to myself, "I wish- I wish just on of my fantisies would come and move my life..."
~
Light shown through the curtains as the sun woke up and I began my morning routine- groan, stretch, and wack my alarm off the table. Yep, seems normal. I ran down the stairs, skipped breakfast again, and walked outside- only to be baffeled at the sight, "Wow, so yesterday it was snowing and freezing and now it's perfect temperature with out a cloud in sight?" I laughed, "Such strange weather!" I quickly found myself at school, in my desk, and beside Mr.Perfect and did my normal routine and waved at him. And, right on cue, he just stared forward, completely ignoring me. 'He must be really focused' I thought and sighed. I had kinda hoped that things would have been different after our little chat yesterday, but to no avail, it was the same.
At the end of class, I had lost my precious pen again and was frantically looking for it, was I starting to make this a habit? "Looks like your getting into the habit of losing your pen." I jumped at the sight of the prince, yet another nickname for Mr.Perfect, as he bent down to watch me. "Oh, shut up." I said jokingly, even though that was far from what I wanted, and stood up as he smiled. "Oh well, I'll look for it after lunch, since last time I was late." I said as I shrugged. He nodded and waved as I left the classroom. I smiled wide while thinking, quite dreamingly I'll add, that possibly losing my pen wouldn't be that bad of a habit, since it always leads to a chat with the prince.
I ran to my friends when I spotted them in the cafeteria and we all took a seat. The three girls have been my friends since elementary, and I loved them dearly. One was spontaneous, and loved to be loud. Her hair was bright pink and her name is Emma. The second girl, the girl beside me named Nicole, was a brunette that based her life and words on sci-fi. Yeah, she's pretty cool. The last of my friends was a short girl named Angelina, she had Ginger hair and loved to do makeup and draw. We all began to talk and joke until Nicole suddenly got serious, "Hey guys, you know how the weather has been crazy lately? Well, it's only happening in this particular town. Everywhere else has stable weather but here and it's not like a cold front is passing us or anything..." Angelina and Emma burst out laughing, "So? Come on! Lighten up! Its just some crazy weather!" Right after their laughing died down, the bell for class rang and we all headed to class as we waved goodbye. 'Thats so strange' I thought, 'Why would only our town be having such extreme changes to the weather?' I decided to shrug it off as I entered my classroom early only to spot Adam on the floor, looking for something. He gave a little 'aha' as he picked up something on the floor. I walked, curious to what he found, to him, "What are you doing?" He flashed a smile as he handed me something long and cylinder. "I was looking for that during lunch. It took awhile, but I finally found it." I looked down at my hand to reveal a pen, the same precious pen I had lost earlier that day, "My pen! Oh, thank you!" I smiled but my smile quickly faded, "Oh, but you weren't looking the whole period, were you? Did you eat?" My question was soon answered as his stomach growled. He shrugged, "Not your problem." He smiled and winked. I sighed, 'Of course it was my problem! He was looking for my pen after all' "Thank you again, but you need to eat!" I dug into my backpack to find my leftover snacks and handed them to him. "Here, have these." He gladly accepted them as his stomach growled again. I suddenly began to laugh, " Not to be rude, but you must really suck at finding things if you took a whole lunch period to find a pen. " He laughed, "Well, I've never been good at finding things."

I sat in my chair as everyone filed in and prepared for the long, boring lesson that awaited us.
~
For the last of the class Adam didn't even look at me, figures. Oh well, he must be a really focused person or something. I began to stare out the window as everyone started to pack up. "What's that?" I heard a girl say as she pointed out the window. I stared at where she pointed to see a small dot in the sky. Soon, everyone was gawking out the side windows, trying to comprehend what that little dot was. "Maybe it's a bird?" One guy said as another shook his head, "Definitely not, with that shape it could never be a plane either." "Well, whatever it is, it's coming closer." We all squinted at the object to confirm that indeed, it was coming closer. "Well, what is it?" Another girl asked and everyone shrugged. Everyone began to think about possibilities when a short guy said shakely, "Uh, guys, it's getting closer very fast. And it looks like it's heading this way..." We all looked at the object as it was much closer than before, a little too close for comfort. This time Adam spoke up "It looks sharp, almost like a sword..." Another guy frantically shook his head, "No, definitely not, that would defy physics." I spoke up, "Adam might be right. Maybe we should think outside physics." Another girl screamed, "No time!" My eyes widened as a sound of glass shattering and screaming filled the room, only to reveal a dark, large, long sword stuck in the floor- and a man attached to it? No wait, a ghost. Oh, but I could see it. Well, he looked like a person, but with some black fog emanating off of him. People screamed and ran for the door, only to find it locked. As for me, I stood still by the window, alone, unable to move. Was this my chance? My chance to finally fulfill my dreams and live a fantasy? If I could protect everyone, my boring life would move. I can do this. The dark man slowly looked to the crowd and screams echoed as I opened my mouth "Stop right th-" I was cut off by another, very familiar voice, "Stop right there! I won't let you hurt them!" I turned to the side to see Adam. Wait, what. I stood there, dumbfounded as Adam stood, defiantly in front of the strange man. Something that I was planning to do. Everything after that went by so fast, Adam and the man fought, and another strange man with white hair entered the room, but instead helped Adam. Adam and the new strange man defeated the original strange man as he fell out the window to the ground. "Your pretty tough, kido" The white haired man said and Adam smiled, "Thank you sir." At this point, everyone was unmoving, unsure of what just happened. "You have a brave heart, how about you come with me to train in my dimension?" 'What, his dimension? There's more than one?' Adam smiled and soon both disappeared, leaving a very confused, grateful, but confused class behind. "What just happened" I said and everyone shrugged.
I plopped on my bed and groaned. I can't believe I missed my one and only shot at a adventure! While Adam is out there having some sort of amazing adventure, I'm stuck here, doing boring homework! When I made my wish last night I meant that I wanted one of my fantasies to come true for me. Not someone else! I sunk into my bed and sighed. At least I don't have school for a week because of repairs.

Hours passed until darkness fell and I finally went to sleep. At the end of the day, I was still a side character. I had lost my chance at the lead role-

Or had I?
