Chapter 4

Khylee's POV

"Okay , bye ma , text me when you get there". I yelled out at her car as she left for work. It was a really warm Saturday morning and her job called her in for a mandatory work day for the 5th time this month.

I closed the door and shut off everything downstairs and went upstairs. I was home alone because Nicole and Nate went on their first date earlier and there was no telling when she'd be back. I walked past our guest room well Kyree's room now I guess and noticed it was slightly open.

I looked away really quickly and peered in just a little before slowly walking in. It was sort of dark since he had his curtains over his window and smelled like really good cologne. I noticed a small box in the corner of his dresser And before I got the chance to open it I heard the front door open.

I quickly ran out and closed the door a little before running next door to my room. I layed across my bed as if I'd been there the whole time when I heard him slightly knock on my doorframe. "Haay". I greeted as I sat up and looked towards him. He smiled at me and said "I just wanted to say you look really cute running away khylee." He slightly chuckled and closed my door.

I couldn't do anything but stare at the door in embarrassment. Damn Khy , you need to be quicker next time. I contemplated for about 5 minutes on whether or not to go explain myself and decided to do it. Grabbing my phone off my bed , I walked to his room and lightly knocked on his door.

I heard shuffling around and the door opened. "Yess ?" he questioned. "Um I just wanted to say I wasn't like snooping or anything I had just wondered if you were in there or not." I said leaning on his doorframe.

"Its cool , but you're welcomed in at anytime" he said eyeing me up and down. "Look we're gonna be cousins in a few months so you can stop with all the little pervert stares and stuff". I said raising my eyebrows. He laughed a little and nodded. "I know , that's too bad , your kinda sexy". He said in this low seductive tone.

I felt my cheeks flush even though you couldn't see due to my caramel colored skin. And before I could reply my phone rang and I looked down to see it was Trevor and instantly got happy. "Hey baby" I smiled and started to walk away before kyree said something that threw me offguard. "Damn , it's a shame . I could treat you way better than he could." and closed his door.

I sat there kind of confused at why he even said that. "Baby you there ?" Trevor spoke over the phone. "Yeah I'm here but what were you saying" I replied as I walked back into my room closing the door.

"Let's hang out today , we can do whatever you want." "Um how about we go swimming , come over and we'll spend the day out at the pool". I Say smiling and plopping on my bed. "Alright , that sounds like a plan , I'll be over there in a minute okay ?" He said.

"Okay". I replied hanging up the phone. I quickly found my purple 2 piece and put it on. I looked in the mirror and it fit me really well. I hadn't worn it in like 6 months but it still fit perfectly. I hurried down the steps to avoid another weird confrontation with kyree and headed the back yard to lay down some towels and turned on my speaker that was hooked up to my phone and cleaned the pool.

"Work , work , work , work , work , work" I was singing along while cleaning the pool , and I felt a pair of arms snake around my waist. I turned to see Trevor. I smiled and jumped on him wrapping my legs around his waist and he help me up by my thighs. "Hey babygirl , I wanted to surprise you so I came from the gate instead of the front door." He said placing a kiss on my lips. "I see". I replied kissing him back and smiling.

Then he did this creepy smile thing and tossed me into the air and into the pool. I quickly swan to the top flicking my hair back and wiping my face. "Trevor I'm about to kill you" . I laughed and swam to where he was laughing his heart out and pulled him in by his leg. He came back up to the surface and swam after me .

I went underwater to go deeper but he grabbed my leg and pulled me back to him. I came up for air and he was smiling in my face. "I know you ain't think you were getting away from me." he said. "I did but I wasn't moving very fast I guess." I said back to him. We laughed and he looked at each other and he kissed me so passionately and I kissed him back deepening the kiss.

I loved being around him and he made me so happy. We were interrupted by his phone. " Just ignore it, I don't wanna ruin this moment" he said. I did and we continued kissing and he grabbed me up by my waist again. Ding ! It was his phone again and this it ring once again. I sighed and pulled away. "Just get it". I said and he let me down to go answer it.

"Hello ?. So what I'm with khylee right now. Huh ?. why would you to that man ? You know I can't !" he said into the phone. "Fine man , I'll be right there." He hung up the phone and went inside to put the towels away. While he was in His phone dinged and I picked it up and looked at it.

' Lacy: And come through the back baby , it's unlocked. '

couldn't believe it , not only was he cheating but he was leaving me to be with her.
