Hey people! Ive always wanted to give Regina a happy ending. Im a big OUAT fan, and I thought I could give Regina her happiness. If there are any characters you want me to add to the story, just comment it below. Im new at writing, so the more feed back the better. Don't forget to vote, and I hope you enjoy :)

I woke up early. I sit up on my soft, and dry moss bed. I hit my head on the damn small tent roof, that I made out of boulders. I grumble, and rub my eyes. "Nothing says good morning like a concussion." I chuckle at the same repeated mistake I make every morning. You think a girl would learn. I get out of the tent, stretch, and smile as the morning rays hit my face.

I grab some clothes, and walk down to the stream close by. I strip down, and put my hands into the rushing water. "dammit that's cold." I mumble. Cold water is an annoying reminder that winter is on its way. In my opinion its the worst season of the year. Its the season that I go without bathing. I splash some water on my face, and arms, then eventually my whole body. I start washing the dirt off. I dry my body with the dirty clothes, and put on clean-ish clothes. I put on tight leather riding pants, a long white sleeved shirt, a vest I made from rabbits skin, and knee high boots. I put my damp hair in a messy bun, and start for my tent.

After putting my dirty clothes away, I grab my bow, and sling my quiver over my shoulder. I grab the small dagger, that I stole from some guard when he was flirting with a couple of girls. The guards in this village aren't to bright, and I can easily cheat them in a game of poker. I check my snares before heading into town. Like yesterday, nothing. "Crap! Nice job Mara" I grumble at myself, and forage for some berries, as I head into town. I eat the small handful I have, and walk into the market.

As usual Everybody's eyes are off me.  Just the way I like it. Nobody in this town treats me like a human. There all afraid. Ive had the ability to move the elements around me ever since I could remember. Earth, water, wind, metal, and air. Yesterday I surprised my self when I bent a tree in half. When I was six a woman who ran a brothel took pity on me, and gave me a job bringing the guests there meals. As I got older, and I developed a chest, I got more promotions. Now I only work there on the weekends. I've been losing customers ever since this stupid Rebellion against the Queen has started. More and more of my costumers had been killed.

I don't see why they think she's so 'Evil'. She's doing what every ruler does. She's killing her enemies, and expanding her land. maybe if The idiots from the rebellion backed off of her, then maybe she wouldn't threaten the community so much. The guard's even told us that if we stop supporting the ever so annoying Snow White. Then the Queen would be grateful, and would reward us. The Queen herself has never been to this village before, but there's a rumor carried through the wind saying she is coming today. I wouldn't miss seeing her for the world. I've never seen royalty before, I'm looking foreword to seeing a great strong woman, who is also the only other person I heard of who has powers.

I walk through the center of the market, and notice all the guard's, aren't sitting on there asses. There trying to be productive, as they stand around. I hope that's because the Queens coming. I check my pocket and let out a sigh. I have one silver, and four copper pieces. That can only get me something small like apples. My appetite wins, so I head to the apple cart. I walk to a big red headed twenty four year old man, who runs the apple cart. "Hey Fergus. Three honey crisps please." I say smiling. "Oh hello there Mara." He says in a cheery Scottish accent. "Did you hear the big news? The Queen is coming today. Maybe you can ask her for some advice about your magic."

Fergus has always been a good friend to me, and one of the only people in this town who likes me. When I was nine I was starving, and living behind his fathers bar, that he works at. He found me past out in the rain. He took me in for a few weeks, and nursed me back to health. He's like an older brother to me. Now and then he even gives me a free drink at the bar, or a few apples from his cart.

"Yeah. Maybe she can help me be normal." I lightly smile, and pull out my money. Fergus hands me the apples, and pushes my hand away. "No charge Darlin." He smiles, and gives me a playful punch on my shoulder. "Thanks Ferg. I will pay you back when I can." He smiles, and nods. I walk  to a tree, and sit as I enjoy the sweet apple. Its peaceful today. I smile as I watch the golden leaves rustle in the wind. I rest my eyes peacefully.

"She's here!"  I hear a man screaming at the top of his lungs, and I jump, in surprise. The man was running from the trail, and into the center of the town. "The Evil Queen is here!" People start cowering in fear as A big black carriage comes roaring down the trail, and into the center of town. My heart starts pounding, and I nervously stand "Oh Gods. Shes here."
