(3rd pov)

Billie sat patiently in the chair as he reminisced about the things he should have done. All the time he should have been spending with his family was now gone. He had let every opportunity slip by and he now knew this. He started to feel the tears approach his eyes as he stared at the dark floor. The room was silent, until.

*Click*

Billie’s head jerked to the door. It had unlocked. He wiped his eyes on his sleeve as he stood. He approached the door and cautiously grabbed the handle. He slowly turned it and it made a slight creak as it twisted with ease. He slowly opened it and peaked out hesitantly. “Um, hello?” He said softly. His voice echoed down the hall. He stepped out slowly to see the wallpaper ripped and several places and claw marks at the big door at the end. It was cracked open. He slowly moved toward it. “Nef?” He heard a faint cry. It sounded like himself. He grew nervous as he approached. He heard a sniffle from a woman. He slowly pushed the big door open and peaked in. “Hello?” He said softly. He looked to the side to see Neferapophis in the floor with the beast of himself lying with his head in her lap. She pet his head with both arms holding on to him. His once clean cut black suit was now ripped in a few places and had spots of dirt. He saw chains coming from the arms of himself. Billie gulped. Neferapophis looked to him with a few tears falling.

“Billie,” She said with a tad of excitement.

“What happened?” Billie stepped closer but kept a good distance from the evil one on her lap. She sniffled.

“He got loose and looked you away in a cubby of your mind. He controlled your body to be free, but then he tried searching for me. I was too busy hydrating. He had almost given up in the real world until I finally found him. He was about to jump off a building! I was able to save you just before hand and bring him back in. From where you were trapped in here you body went into a comma when I pulled him in.”

“I’m on a roof in a comma right now?” She slowly nodded.

“Well you should be in the hospital now. It’s been a day.”

“How long has he had control?”

“About a week.” Billie was shocked, to him it had only seemed a few hours. Billie looked down at the beast who was breathing heavily.

“What’s wrong?”

“I had to calm him so I had to use a spell to weaken him. He’s too strong to carry on.” She struggled to say as she teared up rubbing the top of his head. “I thought I could manage him but I can’t. I didn’t realize you had this much anger and sadness built up in you Billie. If I knew I wouldn’t have chosen you.” She looked to Billie saddened. Billie just nodded.

“I guess it just sort of grew over time.” He shrugged. “So what do you have to do to calm him?” She cried a little more and bent hugging onto the beasts limp body.

“I have to…I…” She sniffled and sat up looking to Billie. “I have to kill him…” She whispered. Billie’s eyes grew wide.

“Will that kill me?” She shrugged.

“I don’t know,” She cried a little more. “I’m so sorry that I’ve done this to you. I love you so much! I just couldn’t help myself. That’s why I came back for you! You’ll never understand. I just wanted to help, but I’ve created this monster! I’m cursed and I knew that, but I’ve never had a problem like this in the past!” She continued crying and hugged onto him. “You look just like him, you guys are just to similar, I’m so sorry.”
