Chapter 19

Steve's POV

"Make sure you do it exactly like I told you too" I tell her sternly. "This is really important so neither of you better mess it up. "Relax we got this"

Leanne's POV

Steve and I have been getting along a lot better the last few days and I think he's finally starting to except me and Michael being together too. "How about we go to the boardwalk today?" Steve smiles coming into the kitchen. "Sure!"

After spending the morning playing arcade games, Steve looks at the time and suggest we go get some lunch. I start walking and he takes my hand stopping me in my tracks. "Why don't we go to the other café today?"

"It's all the way on the other side of the boardwalk. Let's just go here" I sigh not wanting to walk that far. "but the foods so much better there" he pouts playfully. "Fine! But your paying" I giggle and head down to the café.

Michael's POV

It's my turn to get lunch today so after writing down what everybody wants, I head to the café down the street.

I'm stood waiting for the guy to finish making the food and suddenly some girl comes running over to me. "Baby! There you are!" she smiles excitedly throwing her arms around me then crashes her lips against mine. "Umm.. Do I know you?" I ask pulling away from her confused. "Awww. I love you too baby" She coos and leans forward to kiss me again but I move back and as I do I see Leanne standing at the door and she turns to leave with Steve. And I run over. "Baby, that's not what it..."

"Save it!" Steve cuts me of and goes after Leanne. "What the fuck is wrong with you!?" I turn snapping at the girl. "Oops, sorry wrong guy" she giggles walking out.

Leanne's POV

"I can't believe I was so fucking stupid" I sob and Steve puts him arms around me pulling me close. "It's not your fault" he tries to soothe me. "But it is! I should have just listened to you when you tried to warn me. Time and time again"

"Look, lets just forget about Michael. You don't want to ruin your summer over some dick that isn't worth your time or your tears. We're all going to the club tonight so how about we go shopping get you a new outfit, we'll all have some drinks and party. Before you know it you'll be saying Michael who?" He smiles trying to reassure me. "I can't just forget about..."

"Trust me!" he cuts me off "we're all gonna get so wasted tonight you won't even remember you own name"

Michael's POV

"I have know idea who she was!" I snap turning to Jermaine. "So she just charged over and pounced on you?" He looks at me skeptically. "Yes! And then Leanne saw and ran out. I've tried calling to try and explain but she won't take my calls" he doesn't say anything and thinks for a moment. "If she's upset her friends will probably take her out to her favourite club tonight to cheer her up"

"Probably" I shrug "but what does that matter?"

"Well you go there tonight and you talk to her and don't let her walk away until she's heard you out"

"But what if she won't listen?"

"Then make her listen and you better sort this soon, because you know full well Steve will be getting inside her head making sure she forgets all about you"

Leanne's POV

Steve's been trying to cheer me up all day and so far he's been doing a great job.

We're at the club and me and my housemates are having a great time. After being on the dance floor for what felt like forever, everyone goes back to the bar for more drinks. "I'll be right back. Oder me another drink ok?" I smile at Steve and head to the restroom.

Michael's POV

Me and my brothers get to the club and I ask one of the guys on the door if Leanne was inside. Since her and her friends come here every year their pretty well known around here and he told me she was inside.

As soon as we get in my brothers see a group of girls and head over to them, while I start looking around for Leanne. I see her at the bar smiling with her arm around Steve telling him something. "I look on for a moment to see if anything else happens with them and she makes her way to the restroom alone. Seeing my chance I start making my way across the dance floor to wait for her to come back out and somebody grabs my arms. "Hey! you  wanna dance?" A girl smiles at me and I shake my head. "I'm sorry I need to find my girlfriend" I tell her then turn to leave and again she pulls me back. "Don't worry, I'll help you forget about her" before I can speak she crashes her lips against mind and I push her away. I turn to go towards the restroom and this time Leanne has come out and clearly saw what happened. "That wasn't what it looked like" I try to explain rushing over to her and she pushes me away. "Stay the fuck away from me!" She snaps and pushes past me towards the exit. I run after her but by the time I get outside she's already gone.

Steve's POV

After I see Leanne rush out of the club I walk over towards the restroom. "Good job" I smile handing over $100 "I told you we got this"
