Chapter 5:

“Never mind I found her!”

I immediately got tackled in a hug.

“What the hell happened to you? You aren’t answering any calls I thought you hated me something or that you died” She said pouting.

“No way Boo someone smashed my phone” I said looking at Harry. He whistled innocently looking away. 

“Ohhh, well why the hell would someone do that?” She questioned.

“It was an accident” I said with a sigh looking over at Harry who was smiling at me.

“Ahh” she says nodding her head.

“So how’s the work change?” she asks.

“Uhh well fantastic actually” I say putting on a fake smile. She was about to question when Jake came out.

“Here’s your phone, oh hey Ali Boo” He said handing Harry the phone and hugging Ali.

“Hey Babes” she said hugging him and then kissing him that’s when it connected. Jake and Ali are dating I’ve only seen him twice though.

“Oh my goodness I completely forgot since I haven’t seen you in a while, Hey Jake” I say he looks at me and chuckles.

“I was waiting for you to notice Jules” He chuckled with Ali.

“Wait im confused?” Harry said I looked at him and chuckled.

“Ok so my best friend Ali, who is right there is dating Jake but it’s been what like 3 weeks since I’ve seen him so that’s why I barely remember him.” I say pointing to each of them.

“Ohhh makes sense” He said walking over and handing my new phone. I looked at the screen 42 messages, 29 missed calls, and 10 voicemails. I groaned and opened the missed calls to see there from my mom, Ali, and Lizzy. I opened the voicemails next only to see 5 voicemails where from Ali asking where I was 3 from Mom and 2 from my boss Barbara. Last but not least 30 messages where from Ali screaming at me to answer, 9 were from my mom checking up and seeing if im going to my twin brothers birthday parties which is in two days and 1 from Barbara saying I need to text her. I thought I was done until I saw and unopened message. I opened it to see it’s from and unknown number.

Hey! Its Tyler from the party on Friday, we kinda switched numbers lls ANYWAYSSS I was wondering if your available this upcoming Sunday maybe we could get coffee… Alright bye!

I blushed remembering last Friday night when I, Ali and Liz went to our friend Shelly’s party. There was a boy there obviously his name was Tyler, he had brown hair and beautiful blue eyes. We talked; danced, and even kissed that night... it was fun.

“Ohhh your blushing a boy texted you lemme see” Ali said taking my phone she read it and went wide eyed.

“Oh my goodness is this the guy with the really pretty blue eyes the one you were snogging halfway through the night” She said within second Harry put his arm around my waist.

“Mhmm” I hummed nervously.

“Ohhh gurrrrrlllll you need to go see him” She said typing into my phone.

“WAIT DON’T!” I say grabbing for my phone but not before I hear he ding meaning the message sent.

“Opps, uuhh sorry?” she said handing it back.

To: Tyler :*

Of course what time should I meet you? ;)

I could feel Harry reading it and his grip tightened.

“I have to cancel it…” I say typing him a message saying something just popped up.

“Wait why?” She asked confused. I slowly looked down at Harrys hand then looked up at her to see she is still confused. I look to it again but yet again she is still confused. So I snuggled closer to Harry and finally it connected.

“HOLY SHIT! No way Omg you have to tell me everything!” She says I couldn’t help but laugh.

“Boo, you took forever to notice.” I say with a chuckle.

“Not to be a bummer but we uh have to go” Harry said. I looked at him and pouted.

“Uh ok how bout we have a sleepover then, Tomorrow?” Ali said. I look at Harry to see he nodded.

“Ok we’ll have it where exactly?” I ask.

“Our house. We can have it at our house.” Harry said.

“Ok that’ll be fun. Text me ok JuBear” Ali said I nodded and smiled. I hugged her tightly.

“Love ya Boo” I say.

“Love you to JuBear now go, don’t want to keep Harry waiting.” She said smacking my bum as me and Harry walked out.

“Well that was…” He started.

“Entertaining” I finished chuckling as we get to the car. At that time my phone rings.

‘She Devil’ It read meaning my boss it calling. I pressed the answer button only to be received with yelling.

“JULIET JOHNSON I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU DON’T HAVE A FUCKING EXPLANATION THEN YOU WILL BE FIRED!!!” She yelled even loud enough for Harry to hear but then again he has super sensitive hearing.

“Im sorry Barbara, but I do have an explanation.” I say.

“Oh yea well it better be damn good, explain” She spits. Off the top of my mind I say something random.

“I was kidnapped” I say this got Harry to slam on the brakes and look at me deathly before trying to grab my phone but I pushed it away and mouthed ‘hold on’.

“What the hell do you mean by that?” She asked. Harrys red eyes were starting to scare me as he pulled into a parking lot.

“Well you see it’s not kidnapping my friend wanted me to go to the beach with her but I wouldn’t go so she took my phone and kidnapped me to a beach house with no phone or anything.” I say quickly just as Harry crawled over and tried to take my phone again.

“You teenagers god, your lucky let me tell you, anyways we need you in the shelter tomorrow morning at 5 am until 5 pm. See you then” She said before hanging up. I sigh looking over at a pissed Harry driving back.

“Look Harry im sorry, It was the first thing out of my mouth and I wasn’t thinking” I say as we pull in to the house.

“Sure” He says almost like a growl before getting out and walking towards the house.

“Harry please don’t be mad” I say rushing out of the car catching up to him. He stops and shakes his head.

“Im more upset then mad, you almost spilled the secret, and we’re supposed to be mates but, I don’t know after today. Mates don’t break promises” He said looking at me one last time before running of into the forest. I felt a tiny piece of my heart break.
