Behind the Red Eyes

Chapter 13:

-1 ½ weeks later-

“So you never did tell us about your date” El said as we sat outside watching the boys play wrestle and wait for my cousin to arrive, yep she’s staying with us for a month and a half it took a lot of convincing and food but the boys agreed.

“Oh there’s nothing much to tell other than it was perfect” I say smiling widely.

“Ohhh details women!!” Ali yelled scooting closer to me.

“Well he took me to the boardwalk, we stayed there for an hour or so playing games and riding rides, well then at sunset we had a picnic on the beach. It was so romantic well eventually we went back to a hotel where we sat on the bed talked and watched a movie” I said smiling.

“Awwww wait so did you guys you know do it?” Ali asked. I opened my mouth to answer when a wave of nausea hit me. I got up and ran straight to the bathroom where I made my breakfast and lunch reappear. I feel my hair being pulled back out of my face as another rubbed my back. Tears rolled down my face as my food kept making a reappearance. After everything was out I rested my head on my arm gasping for air.

“Baby are you alright?” Harry asked handing me a glass of water which I happily gulped down.

“Uh yea I think I might have the stomach bug that’s all” I say standing up.

“How about we take you to bed and get you some soup so you can get some rest” He says as I brush my teeth to get the vile taste away.

“No its fine honestly I think I ate too much and my belly wasn’t too happy” I say patting my below.

“Fine but can we at least lie down on the couch and watch a movie just so I know you’re getting some kind of rest.” He said wrapping his arms around my waist. I smile and nod before pecking my lips which made him scrunch his nose.

“You taste like vomit” He says which made me roll my eyes.

“WHERES MY JULIET!!” I hear a voice say I gasped before turning and running to the main hallway where my cousin was standing smiling widely except she looked different. Her once very tan skin now pale white her eyes and hair more vibrant and she had some sort of glow to her, but I didn’t care I ran to her.

“CAMERON!!” I shout as I jumped up and hugged her. She hugged me back while spinning in as circle.

“Oh my god I missed you life crazy!” I say as she put me back on the ground.

“I missed you to cuz! How long has it been?” She asked as I picked up one of her bags and she picked up the other.

“Ahh a year maybe” I say shrugging as we walk into the living room where everyone except Niall was.

“Hey everyone this is my cousin Cameron, Cameron this is Liam, Ali, Louis, Eleanor, Zayn, Harry, and Niall is probably in the bathroom” I say pointing everyone out. They all say a hello with a wave before the boys pulled me aside.

“She’s one of us” Liam said with wide eyes.

“Yea I could tell she’s changed a lot, like much more paler, eyes vibrant, cold skin you name it” I say looking over at my cousin who was staring at us with a curious face.

“Uh guys don’t you have sensitive hearing which means she can hear all of this” I say and they went wide eyed.

“Dammit sometimes I forget” Liam said making me giggle. I turn to see Cameron shaking her head with a smile.

“Uh Cameron can you come here?” I ask and she excuses herself and walks over to us.

“I was going to tell you eventually im sorry” She said looking down.
