"Savannah, please come down here," mother said, firm.
"Ugh, what now?" I came downstairs.
"We have something we need to tell you," father replied.
I stayed silent and listened.
"You were...adopted," mother barely said.
I stood in shock, I was...adopted?!
I ran up to my room without saying one word.
How could they do this to me? I loved them, I thought they were my parents, but they weren't, they just lied to me, and I will never forgive them for this.
Mom came up to my room, "Savannah," I wouldn't let her finish, "How could you?! I loved you, I thought you were my parents! You lied to me, and I will NEVER, EVER, forgive you for this! I wish you never adopted me! You ruined my life, and you don't even care, just stay out of my life, I want nothing to do with you!"
"We cared about you, we adopted you from a fostering home, like Steven! We went through so much to get you! That's how much we cared! We never wanted to make you so upset! I am so sorry to do this to you!" she shouted.
"Just leave me alone, Jane, you're not my mother, and you'll never be!" I cried, calling her by her name.
"I am your mother, Savannah!" tears dropped from her eyes.
"Wait...Michelle new about this, didn't she?!" I was so upset with them.
"Savannah," she tried comforting me, but I pushed her away.
"Just leave me alone," I ran outside and cried. I was so angry, and so upset!
Dad came outside.
"Luis, was he adopted, too?" I asked.
"No, honey, I'm sorry," he tried to hug me, but I wouldn't let him.
"I hate you! I hate you both!" I ran away, I wasn't sure where I was going yet, but I knew I was going somewhere far.
I stopped somewhere, dad was behind me.
"You're stalking me now?!" they did so much to me.
"Savannah! Please, don't push us out of your life!" dad cried.
I didn't care, I hated them for this.

Deep down in my heart, I still had a spot for them.

This was gonna kill mine and Luis' relationship.
I went back home, with Jimmy (dad) stalking me.
"Go away! I want nothing to do with you and your lies!" I yelled.
Luis came outside, "Why are you so upset? Don't say you're fine, cause I know you're not."
"Luis, I was adopted," I cried.
"Wh-what?" he stood there, shocked.
"You weren't, only I was, I know, I'm like a stranger, but please, Luis, please don't hate me now," I was too sad to beg.
"Savannah, I could never hate you, no matter what," he hugged me with tears falling still.
