I felt so alone.
Me and Luis weren't as close as we use to be.
"How could they do this to me Luis?" I was so upset.
"Calm down, Savannah, they're still your parents, and they love you," Luis replied.
"You don't understand Luis! If you were adopted, you'd know how I feel right now," I said, and Luis left me.
He went inside to his mom and dad, "How could you do this to Savannah?! How could you do this to me?! She loved you, both, and you just kept lying to her?! If you thought you were protecting her, you weren't, you were hurting her, I can't believe you."
"Luis-" he stopped them, "Save it, I don't need to waste my time with you and your lies."Michelle came over, "Hey! Why are you sad?"
"You! You knew I was adopted!" I shouted, angry, and sad.
"I'm sorry, Savannah, they made me promise not to tell you, or Luis, I can't imagine how you must feel, but please, please Savannah, don't be mad at me," she begged, but I couldn't take it.
"I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at them. You still shouldn't have kept this from me!" I yelled.
"I-I know, and I'm sorry, I don't know what else to say, Savannah."
"Good, cause there's nothing left to say." I walked away.I went to my room, and Steven came.
"Steven? How are you here?" I asked.
"Someone a-adopted me." He said, I was shocked.
I couldn't tell if he was scared, glad, or anything.
"Steven? Who?" I asked.
"Your parents. Savannah, you're my sister!" He shouted, glad, but I wasn't.
"That's great, but I cannot forgive them, I was adopted, how would you feel? What would you do?"
"Savannah, you need to turn to God. I prayed, and talked to Him, I asked Him, why did this happen to me? Please, Jesus, help me. You know I'm afraid, please. I said more, but Savannah, you're gonna be lost!" He said, and I listened.
He left me, so I could pray.
"Dear Jesus, please come into my heart, and forgive me for all of my sins. Help me to know You, and to learn your ways, help me to do what's best. Please, help me to forgive others, and my parents, I can't get over this, Lord. But I know You'll bring me through. Jesus, please help me, I'm sorry for my sins. Lord, I need You. I love you. I need You, now, and always. I give You my heart, Lord. Please forgive me.
In Jesus' Name, Amen."Hours later, I started to feel better.
I went downstairs to mom and dad.
"Mom, dad, I forgive you for this, I just hope you can forgive me. I am sorry, I know you care. I love you, both. Please forgive me, cause I don't know what I'm gonna do knowing that my parents don't forgive me. Please, I am sorry." I said.
"Savannah," they hugged me back, "We forgive you." They said.
