Chapter 20

Juliet’s POV

"You've got to be kidding me," I whispered to the doctor who stood in front of me.

My back was pressed against the stiff hospital mattress and my hand was hooked up to a single IV. I woke up quite a while ago and was now getting the news of my current situation. The chairs to the left of me were left abandon because I had told Harry and Karen to wait outside.

A frown played on the doctor’s face as he nodded. I whimpered and my eyes grew slightly wide, a single tear rolled down my cheek, but I was quick to wipe it away.

"But how...? I'm...its not--" I couldn't finish my sentence because I was cut off by a sob escaping my lips. This isn't fair.

"Dear" he cooed "I'm extremely sorry. I know you’re young and all, but this is a very serious situation." I was about to respond when the door opened and in walked Harry

"Sorry, but what's happening?" The doctor was about to speak but I was quick to cut him off

"I have just got this little bug, should be gone soon." Harry smiled and sat down next to my bed

"Good I thought it was something serious," he sighed and I smiled reassuringly in his direction.

The doctor threw me a questioning look and I gave him a look that said 'go with it'. "Uhm," the doctor coughed "right, a bug. Um medication won't be required and you’re free to leave anytime." He smiled weakly at me and walked out the door.

I turned to Harry "Can we get out of here now," I whined.

"Sure thing," he smiled showing his dimples, "I'll go get Karen and Louis." He kissed the top of my head and as soon as he walked out my smile dropped and rubbed my temples, no way was I going to tell Harry or Paris or anyone what’s wrong.

"So that's it?" I questioned the doctor one last time in the corner while Harry, Karen and Louis were waiting in the lobby.

"Afraid so," he paused looking down "we can always do--"

But I was quick to cut him off "no" I stated. "I don't want any of that trouble."

He sighed, "ok, make sure to have fun."

I smiled and nodded walking away from him and down the plain white hallway. Sure I wasn't the least bit happy, but I don't want to go through the pain and trouble. And If I do go through with it, everyone will notice.

I sighed and shook my head, no bad thoughts. I said to myself sternly. I walked into the lobby and a worried looking Karen pulled me into a hug "thank god" she whispered into my head.

She kissed my cheek and let me go before Louis pulled me into a short hug. "It's just a bug guys," I reassured while walking out of the lobby doors and into the cool nights air. "

It looked like you were dying" Louis joked and everyone laughed. I chuckled lightly along trying to stay positive.

"I'll drive," Karen stated hopping in the drivers seat.

"Shot gun" Louis shouted and I giggled. Harry and I climbed in the back. Harry was quick to slide into the middle seat and grab my hand. My eyes widened but he just shook his head and pointed with his finger at Louis and Karen who were lost in their own world.

I smiled and turned back to Harry. His curly hair tickled my neck when he slid his head into the crook of my neck. "Never scare me like that again" Harry mumbled snuggling into me.

"Never" I stated leaning down and planting a kiss on his lips. At this point I didn't care if we got caught, I just wanted to be happy. I laid my head on top of his and closed my eyes. I’m going to make the most out of this, but before I do, I have to tell someone. I cringed at the thought of telling Paris, but I had too. She's the only one who will support me. She's my sister and my best friend.
