Chapter III

The school bell rang and I went to my chemistry class alone as Kyoko, Maeko and Kahoko were not in my chemistry class, they were in a physics one.

As I entered the classroom, I noticed a girl I didn’t recognise standing in front of the board. She seemed to be fidgeting and was biting her lip nervously. Her blue eyes were shining, and her blonde hair had fallen on half of her face. She moved it away with her hand, but it quickly fell back down.

I stared at her as I made my way to my seat.

“A new girl called Izumi is joining this class, so make sure to be nice to her,” my teacher explained, indicating the girl with her hand.

“Hello, my name is Izumi Suzuki, nice to meet you,” Izumi said in a soft voice. “I hope to build a good relationship with you all.”

At the corner of my eye, I saw the bossy, bad woman wannabe student, Kotori, wanting Izumi to join her little group full of rude, vain people. I sighed and hoped that she did not.  Nami was also in Kotori’s little group and she is her closest, best friend. I stared at Izumi and when she looked at me, she gave me a smile.

“Come sit here, Izumi,” I said, anxiously. “My name is Saki.”

“U-um ok-,” Izumi said, “sure.”

“No, come sit with me,” Kotori ordered.

“But, who are you, though?” Izumi said, looking confused.

“My name is Kotori,” she replied, as she tied her strawberry blonde hair into a ponytail. “Why don’t you join my club?”

Izumi said with a frown, “I wouldn’t join your club, but thank you, though.” She gave a weak smile to Kotori.

“So, you’ll be with this little brat, Saki?” Kotori moaned, as she rolled her eyes at me. “If I were you, I would not be with her.”

“Kotori, I think I’ll sit next to Saki, but thank you for saving me a seat, though,” Izumi said, with a weak smile.

I cannot believe Izumi did that to Kotori! I can’t wait to tell Kyoko, Maeko and Kahoko all about this!

Kotori stared blank at Izumi and walked off to sit on her seat. Thank goodness Izumi never joined her little stupid group. Izumi sat onto the spot that I had saved for her and then we heard our teacher, Miss Ito, say “Okay everyone, get your books out and start doing your chemistry work, please!

Izumi and I got our books out and we worked together. I looked at the back and I saw Kotori, filled with jealousy.

The school bell rang again, which meant that it was our break, and Kyoko, Maeko, Kahoko and I saw eachother. We then went to the playground and I told them everything that happened.

Kyoko laughed, “Whoa, I can’t believe the new girl in your class, Izumi, did that to Kotori.”

“Kotori also called me a brat; let’s put a spell on her! Maybe to make her fall in love with Yukio? Because she hates him so much!” I whispered, as I flicked my shiny hair.

“Hmmm…. alright, but make sure not to tell anybody!” Maeko said, happily.

“Oh and guess what, Saki,” Kyoko and Maeko said at the same time, cheerfully. “The Library teacher let us borrow Latin and Greek books so we could translate the whole book!”

“Oh yay!” I said, happily.

As we were talking about the spell book, I saw a platinum blonde, blue eyed girl walking down to us. It was Izumi!
