All day I waited for Christian to talk to me but he never did. I felt something roll around in the pit of my stomach but I was unsure what it was. I was in science for my last period and when the bell went, I was happy to get out of there. I just wanted to get home and ring mum and tell her how my day went. As I walked outside the brig oak doors, several girls and boys from different ages were huddled together, many holding papers of Christian and cameras.
Wait.. Christian... Beadles?
OMG. My eyes widened as I slowly descended the stairs. Christian Beadles? How could I have not guessed that? I stood for a bit waiting for the car that my godmother had given me for the rest of the 2 years saying that everyone else would have one so it wouldn’t be uncommon. I stared at the girls screaming Christian’s name over and over. After a while, a girl that I noticed when I passed through the hall on my way to science. The group of girls surrounded her, wanting autographs. I was shocked. It was Caitlin Beadles.
More and more people came out, getting autographs. Michael Jacksons daughter, Paris, came out of the school, Willow Smith and Alli Simpson. What the..?
I was going to a school for celebrity kids? No. It’s can’t be. I looked at the top of the school building to see Whiteridge Academic Academy for the famous. Oh you have got to be kidding me!! I knew this school was amazing and all but I thought it was just a regular school.
A black car pulled up next to me. I was shocked when I saw Christian’s head poke out of the window.
Christian: Hey Nora. What are doing?
Nora: Oh, hey. Um.. I am just waiting for my car to come. My godmother said it wasn’t uncommon for school students to have drivers. But now I know.
I pointed up towards the sign.
Christian: I was wondering when you were going to find out who I was.
Nora: Wait.. You knew that I didn’t know who you were?
Christian: Yep. Usually most girls rush up to me when they see me. I was wondering when it would be you rushing up to me and wanting a photo.
Nora: Hahaha. I knew you looked familiar!
Christian: Any who… Yo Caitlin hurry up!!
Caitlin: I’m coming!!
A flock of girls saw Christians head poke out of the car. They ran behind Caitlin as her long legs strutted towards the car.
Christian: Oh. Damn it. Hey, do you want a lift home?
He whispered lightly over the window.
Nora: Oh. Uh, sure.
Christian opened the door and I slid in lightly. I wasn’t watching were I was going and my head flicked around. My lips were inches away from his. Neither of us moved. I eyed his lips, they looked so smooth. I could hear Caitlin coming. I shifted my head, my ponytail hitting his cheek.
Caitlin: Okay guys, stand back.
Caitlin’s beautiful head poked into the door.
Caitlin: Scootch over! You don’t want them seeing you do you Christian?
Christian rolled his eyes and moved over the window street and I followed his movements. Caitlin bounced in the car, shutting the door behind her.
Caitlin: Okay. Drive!
The car zoomed out of the school and before I knew it, we were on the high way going towards my house.
Caitlin: Hey. I’m Caitlin.
Nora: I know. I mean hi, I’m Nora.
Caitlin: Hahah. Hey Christian, how come you haven’t told me about Nora?
Christian’s eyes widened and Caitlin’s lipped formed a smile.
Christian: Argh. Because it’s the first day of school.
Caitlin: Aww. Whatever.
Christian: Hey Nora. What is your twitter name?
Nora: Oh god. Let me remember it. I haven't gone on it since I was in Australia. I'm pretty sure it's nora.r.andrews. I’m pretty sure I am following you.
Christian: Hahah. I’ll follow you.
The driver: Mr Beadles, this is Miss Andrews stop.
Christian: Thanks Simon.
Christian opened the door and got out, staring at my godmothers house. I got out aswell. Leaving Caitlin to stare at her phone.
Christian: Your godparents have a nice house.
Nora: Hahah. Yeah. I try not to tell people I live in a McMansion. It’s annoying people just being your friend because you live in a nice house. Well that’s exactly what happened in Australia so.. Yeah.
Christian: Yeah it gets annoying.
We slowly walked on the cement pavement through the white brick gate. I stared at my godparent’s house. It was just a mini version of the white house.
Christian: So who is your god mother? I mean, she is so rich so she has to be some what famous?
Nora: I was waiting for you to ask that.
Caitlin: HURRY UP CHRISTIAN!
Christian: OKAY! Hey, let’s Skype chat tonight. Tell me then?
Nora: Haha. Okay. Bye.
Christian leaned in and gave me a hug. I froze. My heart beating harder than it did ever before.
Why was Christian so damn gorgeous!?
I ran up to my room, waiting for Christian. He never came on. What was going on?
