Casey's P. O. V.

It's been 2 months since Justin and I got engaged. We've been great! Vanessa was so angry when she heard the news. She's been trying to break us up ever since.

Ryan is giving me an ultrasound to make sure everything is okay where I was shot. So hopefully everything looks good.

"This gel is cold. Just warning you. "

I laugh and pull my shirt up, "Alright!"

Ryan starts moving the camera around. I'm confused because I start hearing a drumming noise. A dum dum, dum dum.

Ryan looks at me in shock, "Casey, you're pregnant. "

I look at him in shock, "What"

Ryan clears his throat, "I'm going to go get Justin, okay? You need to tell him. "

I grab his arm, "No! He won't let me stay here and do my job. "

Ryan sighs, "I'll convince him to let you stay here, okay?"

I nod as he walks out. A few minutes later, Justin walks in, "Babe. Is everything okay?"

I smile at him, "Justin, I'm pregnant. "

Justin immediately smiles, relieving any nervousness I had about telling him. He grabs my face and kisses me a million times then kisses my stomach a million times.

"We're going to be parents! I'm going to be a dad!"

I smile at him, "I love you. "

Justin presses his forehead against mine, "I love you too," then he moves down to my stomach and says, "And I love you too, little one. "

I laugh, "I can't believe I didn't notice that I haven't had my period. I guess it's just been so busy and stressful here. And I thought I was just gaining weight from the stress and food. "

Justin grins, "I can't believe we're having a baby. We need to tell our families!"

I rub my neck, "Do you think we should put in for some time off? Go home for a little?"

Justin shrugs, "We should wait until it's time for you to have the baby, I think. Let's just tell our families over FaceTime. And you can stay back at the compound. I don't want you going out in public. As a pregnant American woman in Benghazi, I want to keep you two safe. Please understand. "

I sigh but smile at him, "I understand. It's not just about me anymore. I need to look out for our baby now. "

Justin kisses me, "Absolutely. Let's go call your family."

I nod and grab his hand, following him back to our room, grabbing the laptop.
