Chapter Fourteen

--- Ashy's POV ---

I quickly rushed to the common room to find Draco waiting for me.

" Sorry Draco." I said as I rubbed my arm

" It's fine. C'mon lets go before anyone sees us." Draco said as he reached his hand out for me to grab

We walked around the castle when we started turning and going up stairs until Draco stopped walking.

" Draco where are we??" I asked as I knew that this was the seventh floor.

" We are at the room of requirement."

" But there is no ro-" I was about to say until a door formed in the middle of the wall.

" Shall we??"

" Yes we shall."

Draco had led me to the middle of the room where there were two bean bags and a basket.

" Draco... All of this... For me??"

" Yes... Do you...like it??"

I was speechless so I just went forward and hugged him.

" Thank you so much Draco. I love it!!"

" Your welcome birthday girl."

We then proceeded to eat the food that Draco had gotten from the kitchen. He was able to sneak in a few pastries and snacks. It wasn't long until all the food was gone and all we had left to do was to talk.

We talked about what we planned to do in te future, what we would do in second year, what we liked and disliked. We basically talked about everything.

It was getting late so Draco gave me his present.

" Here." He said as he handed me over a small box

I opened it to see the most beautiful ring. It had an infinity symbol carved into it.

" Draco we are to-"

" I know. But it's not that though. Its a promise ring. Like a friendship ring. The ring is like a promise that we would be friends forever and nothing would destroy that. I know that you will think it will be weird to wear around your finger so I placed a chain so you can wear it as a necklace." Draco said as he grinned at me

" Thanks a lot Draco. Can you put it on me?"

" Sure."

--- Draco's POV ---

After putting the necklace on her I showed her mine which was exactly the same except mine was silver and hers was gold.

I felt it was a bit to serious for a moment so I decided to poke her ticklish spot which was at her side.

" Draco!! You silly blonde boy!!" She said as she ran after me.

We ran and ran until we became too tired to do anything.

" Okay okay I surrender!!" Ashy said as she panted and plopped down on the bean bag

" See. Malfoy's always win." I said as I smirked at her.

We sat in silence as we just stared at each other in peace. I then took my time as I admired her. Her hair was magnificent. It curled just at the ends which had brown highlights in them. Her eyes were black with a tint of brown. She was basically like a princess.

Ashy then broke the silence and my trance as she spoke.

" Draco.... Can we.... Go to the.. Common room???" She said as she yawned in between words

" Okay okay. Don't fall asleep on me now."

" I promise I won't."

" Let's go." I said as we walked out of the room of requirement.

We walked all the way down to the dungeons with Ashy's head on my shoulder. She was really sleepy.

We finally got to the common room as she fell asleep. Tara was waiting for me like our agreement. We talked that in case Ashy would tire out herself to much and accidentally fell asleep, she would levitate her to her bed.

I watched Tara as she levitated the sleeping Ashy to her dorm.

" Thanks Draco." Tara said as she stopped in her tracks

" What for??"

" You really made her happy. She really appreciates it. And thanks for not being the git you are infront of the others."

" Hahaha very funny. But your welcome. Good night Tara." I said as we headed in opposite directions to our dorms. This was the best.night.ever
