Chapter 3: Walking and Talking

After that /awkward/ morning passed everyone headed off to do their own thing with of course Naegi talking and bonding with others, hopefully it wouldn't be to weird.

The brunette walked through the colorful halls of Hope's Peaks, hoping someone would want to start a conversation with the poor boy-turned-into-girl.

"Yo! Naegi!" A sudden voice said.

Naegi blinked and turned around, "Huh? Oh hi Kuwata-kun!" she greeted with a smile.

Leon gave a peace sign, "Hey, can I talk with ya for a bit?" the red-head asked.

Naegi nodded, "Sure, why not?" she shrugged.

Leon grinned, "'Kay great! Let's go!" he said.

The brunette blinked, "Um...Where exactly...?" she questioned, looking up at the Allstar.

Leon laughed, "We're jus' walkin' through the halls!" He replied.

"Alright." Naegi said.

The two began to walk through the halls, soon after getting a bit quiet Leon opened his mouth.

"Hey, I got a question." he said as the two walked.

Naegi blinked and kept walking, "Um..Yeah, what is it..?"

Leon sighed, "What's your relationship with Maizono-chan?" he asked.

"Huh?" Naegi stopped and blushed a little, even though he was a now a girl, "M-my relationship with..Maizono-san?!"

The Allstar also stopped and nodded, "Yeah, what is it? Are you two....Dating?" Leon looked straight at Naegi.

Naegi began to oddly sweat, "M-me? D-d-date Maizono-san?" she murmured, "I'm a girl n-now, so...Um..What's the point in dating another girl?...Ahah.." she gave a nervous laugh at the end of her sentence, "Plus..We're JUST friends, nothing more. Just people who went to Middle School together. Yeah."

"Did you date her in Middle School?" Leon asked.

'Why does he keep asking....Is he interested in Maizono-san..?' Naegi sighed, "No Kuwata-kun, we never really knew eachother that much."

"Okay...Then..Can..You..Can you..CAN YOU GIVE ME INFORMATION ON MAIZONO-CHAN?! L-like what kind of guy's she likes...Uh..Her favorite color. Her favorite food. EVERYTHING." Leon began to shake the brunette's shoulders.

Naegi gave him a little push, "Okay, okay, I will.." she replied, "But..Why do you need all these information? Do you...Perhaps, like Maizono-san?" she questioned.

Leon blushed a little, "Well yeah, if I wanna become a musician! I need to learn from an Idol! And..A little more about the Idol, be-because, who wouldn't be interested in an Idol?!"

'I don't know Kuwata-kun, I don't know.' Naegi sweat-dropped, "Alright then..I should get going.." she began to walk away.

"Don't tell her though!"

"Pretty sure I won't!"

"Thanks man, bye!"

'I'm not really a man anymore...'

"Bye Kuwata-kun."

After Naegi had that conversation with Leon, he decided to go ask Maizono those things that needed to be answered.

"...Um..H-hello, Naegi-kun.." a soft voice greeted.

Naegi spun around to see Chihiro, who was standing behind her, "Hi, Fujisaki-san." the pig-tailed brunette greeted.

Chihiro put her hands behind her back, "..H-how are you..?" she asked, looking up at Naegi.

"I'm good and all, just feeling awkward about my gender." Naegi answered, "What about you?"

Chihiro blinked then looked down, "I-I'm good..Thanks for asking.."

"You're welcome." Naegi gave a warm smile.

The smaller girl put her hands infront of the taller girl revealing a green-ribbon hair clip in her hands, "I...Don't really have use of this. So..You can have it Naegi-kun, so you're bangs don't get in the way.."

Naegi blinked, "Is it okay for me to have this?"

Chihiro nodded.

Naegi smiled and took it, "Thanks Fujisaki-san! I appreciate it." the brunette told the Programmer.

Chihiro smiled back, "You're welcome Naegi-kun!"

"Well, I'll be on my way!" Naegi smiled and waved to Chihiro as she walked away.

"Bye Naegi-kun!"

"Bye!"
