The Unicorn

Wait What!

Steven and I continue to argue. Then we heard Connie scream. When we looked at her she was pointing behind us. Steven didn't want to turn around so I did. It was a leaf bug. "Really?" "YES!" She replied than almost ran into a tree again. Steven and I ran after her. She stopped really fast for some reason. Steven almost ran into her but I pushed him out of the way. "What the hell Shadow?" Steven asked. "Well did you want to run into Connie?" "Oh I'm sor....." Connie cut him off. "Um....guys....STEVEN!?" Connie said. There was a pair of glowing red eyes. Steven immediately turned around and ran for his life. I grabbed Connie's wrist and ran. Steven ran faster than I've ever seen him run before. I tried to run faster to catch up to him but not for long because Connie couldn't keep up. Steven was starting to disappear into the woods. Connie told me to let go of her hand so I did. She started running really fast to catch up to Steven. I tried to do the same but my asthma wouldn't let me. So I decided to lead it another way to let them escape. I ran towards the road. I could hear it's hooves click clack as soon as I got to the road. I ran for my life.

(Connie's POV)

Once Shadow let go of my hand I ran as fast as I could to catch up to Steven. I caught up to him. He looked at me than behind him. "Where's....Shadow?" He asked. "I don't know but the unicorn isn't following us." Steven immediately dropped to the ground. "Steven are you okay?!" I asked trying not to be loud. "Yeah....just....need...a....break." He said out of breath. "We need to find Shadow." He agreed but asked for one more minute. I let him have it because I needed it too. As we were resting we saw Shadow being chased down the road by the unicorn.

(Shadow's POV)

I decided to run to Christian's house. I heard footsteps but not the unicorn's. I figured it was Connie and Steven's. I couldn't take it anymore. Everything was going black. I could feel a tremendous amount of pain on my left side. I knew this was it. The last thing I saw was the unicorn standing over me and the night sky behind it.

(Steven's POV)

I saw the unicorn stop and look down at something. I didn't see Shadow running ether. I got really worried and told Connie to stay behind me. I slowly walked up to it and pulled my knife out. I stabbed it in the back. It snorted and ran off. Once it was gone Connie ran up to Shadow. I did the same Shadow was lying on the ground! She was lying on her back and her clothes were ripped on her left side. She was bleeding it looked bad. There were three big cuts on her side and a whole bunch of little ones. There looked like rocks to be in some of the cuts. I told Connie lets go to Christian's. She agreed. I picked up Shadow and started walking really fast to Christian's. I didn't want to take any chances. When we got to Christian's Connie knocked on the door. There were no cars in the driveway. So I didn't expect anyone to answer. Christian peeked through the window, saw me and opened the door. He looked shocked and asked me what happened. "No time to explain just let us in. Um...plz." Connie replied. "Okay but tell me what happened briefly." Christian said. "Fine just let us in!" I shouted at him. "Okay okay come on." Christian replied. We went in and I layed Shadow on the couch. Noah his brother came running in. He looked shocked as well. Connie was explaining what happened to Christian. I told Noah Shadows okay just go get the first aid kit. He did as I said. We didn't call 911 because we knew they wouldn't believe us.

Hey guys told you it would be quick. I'm sry if ch.4 doesn't come out for a while I'm a little stuck. Don't worry that much my friends and I or trying our best. I would appreciate your help though. Hope you enjoyed it. Sry if it's to graphic but I use a lot of detail.
