Preperation

(Shadow's POV)

We ran as fast as we could. We had to find a place to hide. I told them we could hide in a abandoned house. We all agreed. We ran all the way there. I unlocked the back door. I knew the code to the lock. The door wouldn't budge Steven and I kicked it down. Connie got out her flashlight. We went in. The stairs were broken so we couldn't go upstairs. There was mold everywhere. It was hard to breath. We all covered our mouths. We hid in the back room. Steven and Connie hid in the closet while I hid In a cabinet since I was so tiny. I could hear the click clack of it's hooves on the road as it passed. It was getting really hard for me to breath. I was getting light headed. It has been a little while since it passed us so I ran outside. I stood there trying to regain my breath. They came out after me. We took a minute catching our breath. "What should we do now?" Connie asked. "I don't know." Steven said. "We should get some help or get weapons to defend ourselves. If we go back to my house I can get my survival knife." "But the unicorn is over there." Connie asked. "No it ran past us remember?" "Oh yeah. Cool." Connie replied. "We should try to deguise or smell because it can track us that way." "I have a camo jacket and can't we just rub leafs in us." "The jacket Connie can wear since she is wearing bright pink and that should work." Steven replied. We went to the woods and rubbed leafs on us. Than we fast walked to my house. I gave Connie my jacket and grabbed my knife. Steven tried to convince me to give him the knife. I didn't let him have it. He had his own anyway. I gave Connie my walking stick, it would help her and she could hit whatever with it. It was rainbow spray painted anyway. So it's not like I wanted it.
