Chapter 16.1

" Umm, Y/N. Mind if I join you? "

I blinked at him. The sudden person I disliked most was wanting me to accept him. Should I? He has been mean all this time to me, but on the other hand, I DID take away his Puffin. ( More like, the puffin took ME ).

" Umm, sure yeah okay. "

The big fluffy Panda swept me off of it's lap and rejoined China in the kitchen. Mr Puffin quietly chuckled as he moved over for Iceland. I tried my best to avoid his gaze and continued to eat my food.

" So, you're a big fan of Chinese, huh? "

" What? Why the sudden question. It's not like I really like it, but I do because I'm eating it but that certainly means that I'm not addicted to it or anything, I have other favorites too you know? And ... "

Iceland rolled his eyes and made me snap my mouth shut. I am surely irritating him, I haven't even noticed that I was fidgeting the whole time.

" I just asked Y/N. Don't need to fuss over it. And besides I still love you no matter what you think of Chinese Food. "

Did he just say 'Love Me'?!

" Eh?! What do you mean. "

He snapped too from his calm state and melted slightly from his mindless sentence.

" I mean, ACCEPT you. I will still accept you as a 'sister' no matter what your views on Chinese food. "

I gave a slight sigh, but I still couldn't shake the feeling of that little mistake. I just resumed eating my food.

I refused my 6th bowl in order to get away from Iceland real quick, as the awkwardness was getting thick even with Mr Puffin beside me. Seeing he wasn't finished eating yet, I calmly stood up and excused myself to the restroom.

On my way to there, I passed some familiar faces I seen before during roaming around the halls. They still wore their bright smiles as I passed them. I reached the door and only found it to be occupied. Though I didn't need to go, I just came for the sink. 

The door later unlocked to reveal a girl with bright green eyes and shoulder-length hair. She was wearing a pink frilly blouse and gray jeans. She smiled at me and examined me.

" Oh, like, hey there! Aren't you the new girl that Liet just totally told me about? "

I questionably nodded as she giggled. But after hearing her voice, it sounded a lot more masculine.

" Well, in that case, we best be Buddies! "

She dragged me off into even different halls and farther away from Iceland.
