Chapter 6

Monica Henderson

Jan softly trotted down narrow lanes that lead towards the small cavern falls around the edge of the underground district. It took us a while to be honest, but we got there eventually.

Isabel stopped cupping and squeezing my bun with her hand and hopped off the back of Jan, Farlan slid off smoothly and walked up next to me, while Isabel made a run for it to the waterfall and jumped in.

"Good to see there is someone playful and jolly in your group" I pointed out with my monotone voice.

"Yeah, she can really brighten our day sometimes, I'm glad she's in our group" Farlan smiled down on me.

I looked up at him and noticed how tall he was, which made me feel like an absolute shrimp.

"Yeah thats good" I replied.

We watched Isabel dance around the rocks in the landing, she was almost fully clean, though there was a faded brown colour visible on her trousers and top.

"I think I should go wash off too" He said, walking off towards Isabel, but sharply turning around after remembering something.

"Oh wait, can you bring something that could dry us off?" He asked, his attractive baby-blue eyes glistening.

Mon, stop staring.

"Oh haha, yeah sure! But I think it'll take a while, Jan is pretty 'Eugh' right now" I scratched my head, looking at her.

"Hmm, you know how to use 3DM gear right?"

Nope

"Pfft, yeah totally" I chuckled, crossing my arms awkwardly.

"I don't know, I'd give it to you but I'm not sure what Levi would say-"

"Come on Farlan! Chill! He wont find out!

He looked unsure, in the end he sighed loudly.

"I'll teach you tonight, I know you've never used it before" He laughed, striding off towards the waterfall.

Did he just laugh at me?

I should just move it, before it gets too late.

I rush over to Jan, patiently waiting there, looking like he was going to eat me any second now if I didn't get her food.

"Sorry J, you've got to wait" I pat her, then climb on and guide her away from the area and towards the markets.

We speed up, scanning the area for a stall that sold something close to towels, or maybe towels?

I turn my head to look ahead of us, but before I can make a comment on our progress so far, I see a lower half of a familiar body swoop down...

It flew straight into my face and kicked me straight off of Jan, the sudden impact left a surging pain all over my face, chest (Yes, her boobs) and my stomach.

"FAAACK" I scream, touching my everything and rolling around in the muddy puddles in front of the stalls.

I hear something zip, a few footsteps ascending in loudness as someone walked towards me slowly, and the loud 'NEIGHHSSS' coming from Jan, which indicated that she was upset.

"Tch, thats what you get for being in my way, pesky brat" The 'thing' snorted.

Someone put their hand down on my waist and gently pulled me up onto my feet, though I couldn't see them because I had my hands holding my face.

Oh god, if this is Levi, I'm actually going to pick his tiny body up and stick him through a mincer-

"Hey, you alright?" A charming and polite voice asked, which was pretty surprising since this was the Underground District.

I removed my hands from my face and saw the most beautiful thing in my life.

"Umm, hello?" The gorgeous blonde-haired guy looked at me in confusion.

Whoops, I forgot to reply

"Uh hehe, hi-"

"Sina brat, go get towels for the others, make it quick" Levi cut me off, ending the sentence with his famous 'Tch'.

I turned around, pulled my dagger out of its holster and held it up, close to Levi's face.

He still stood there unamused and unreactive.

"Man, you shouldn't talk to girls like that" The Blonde beauty boomed.

Levi simply turned his head towards the guy and growled, then let out a few words to ruin the poor old guy's day.

"You filthy shit, did you just tell me what to do? And lower that dagger, or i'll stick it up your ass" Levi double-burned us.

That would hurt, a lot.

"Sorry, please ignore him, he was born with mental issues" I snickered, looking at the blondie, who was biting his lip, trying to stop himself from laughing.

Levi quickly yanks the dagger and grips it tightly, seconds later its millimetres away from my nose.

I laugh and look at him with a 'try me' expression, which made him angrier.

He lunges forward and I dodge him, but fall back on the blonde guy.

By now, a crowd has gathered, mostly men which were eyeing me up, but also little children and a few old ladies.

"Thanks for breaking my landing" I say, getting up and helping him up too, but Levi kicks me back down onto him.

I jump up and punch him in the shoulder, he doesn't budge.

"Monica, if I see you ever again, I'll take you back to your father" Levi finishes, turning around.

He walks off and 3DMs away, leaving me, the blonde guy, and the crowd.

I get up, helping him up too.

"Im Monica, sorry about that, he's just some guy I met along with some others" I chuckle bitterly, watching the crowd seperating off and heading away to their stalls or just carrying on their every day business.

"Im Percy, nice to meet you" He smiles, looking into my eyes.

I have a feeling were going to get along with each other just fine.
