Chapter 17 : The DATE {part 2}

Sehun's POV:

I was happy to see the reaction of Sera as she looked at the table which had a nice ambience. It was a simple gesture of mine . Just a few phone calls , thrice the amount of payment and a hot headed manager but the way Sera's eyes twinkled made me wanna do a happy dance cause she liked it .

We were currently sitting in the table trying to choose what to eat looking at the menu . Well not me .. Only Sera was looking at the menu , I was looking at her .. Suddenly she looked at me and I quickly tried to look away not wanting her to know that I was staring .. Well tried to but the look on her face told me that I was caught . My ears turned red . God !!

At the same moment the waiter saved me and took our orders . And my little embarrassing scene was forgotten and we talked about everything .. School , our childhood , her teddy bear Freddie ... And how she told me sobbing one day to keep freddie with me saying that she was scared of it suddenly . I took it anyways (I still have it . It helps me to sleep when I'm distressed but she doesn't need to know )

The food came and we immediately dig in . It was really tasty . But I enjoyed Sera enjoying the food more than I enjoyed it .. Sounds crazy .. I know .. Well I''ve gone crazy ..

After dinner , we walked hand in hand slowly heading towards the exit of the mall . Well if you're thinking how come she's holding my hand ... Well it's simple .. I took her hand in mine and she didn't seem to object .. Thankfully ..

Suddenly the Gaming Zone caught my eyes and I looked down at my watch

11:32 pm

"Hey Sera .. Do you have any problem going home a bit late " i asked her . "No " she said without taking a breath . My mouth curled into a wide grin and I pulled her with me . "Then lets go " "Where ?" "You'll see" We stopped in the last section of the gamin zone . Sera's eyes widened when she saw the big banner with 'ARCADE GAMES' written over it .

Sera loved playing video games . She always used to beat me before . I'm kind of sure that she'll like playing arcade games . I looked at her searching for any kind of reaction . But her face remained the same , eyes widened and jaw dropped . She looked really cute .

'Sera' I nudged her shoulders and she looked at me snapping out of her daydream with teary eyes . "Ah .. What happened ? You don't want to play this ? Its ok . Don't be sad . We can go eat ice creams . I'll buy whatever you want . Don't cry .. I'm sorry " I started rambling panicky. She just hugged me tightly in response . "Thank you so much Sehun . I always told dad to bring me here but .. But he's always busy . Thank you " she said to me making me relieved . I hugged her back tightly . Is this the moment that I confess about my undying love??

"Now come on " she pulled me taking my hand in  her enthusiastically..  I chuckled at her enthusiasm. Nobody could tell that she was almost crying just a moment ago ...

I paid for a few token coins for playing the games . Me and Sera started playing a Vs match . Sera's car was white and my one was red . She teased me that she'll win like always . And I just huffed . Maybe I'll lose .. There goes my confidence :v ..

"Yay !! I'm winning . We're in the last lap .. Told you to never underestimate me . I can also wi-" I started celebrating.. And the exact moment Sera's car overtaked my dashing red one . Sera laughed "When did I say that I underestimated you ?? Of course you can win !! " I could clearly see the giggles trying to escape her mouth . I looked at her with an evil glare ..

"Once more " I said determined to win today !

And .. How wrong was !! We ended up playing 5 more times and Sera won every single one of them . I wanted to play again but the shop owner said it was 1;00 am and they were closing .

Me and Sera were heading to the car with her laughters erupting in the silent road . I huffed angrily . Sera stopped laughing seeing my face but ended up laughing again . "I - I'm so - so sorry .. I can't help it .. Oh -h God !" She said in between laughs .

I looked at her face and found myself smiling too . She was really happy ! I felt my heart churning telling me how much it loves her smile , her presence . Oh ! How I would lose hundred more games to make her happy . Sera saw my lovesick expression and asked if I was okay ? And I nodded my head .

The car journey consisted of Sera reminding me how close I was to win but just not close enough . I frowned and told her that one day I'll make her lose and then laughed at my own words . I lost count of how many times I said that to her ..

We reached home very fast as it was midnight . Sera started to open her door when I stopped her and told that I'd do it . I went to her side and opened the door . It felt good to do that for her . "Bye Sehun . It was the best day of my life . I had so much fun" she gave me a quick hug . "The pleasure's all mine . I hope we could do it sometime again " I said to her and she nodded her head happily and turned around to go inside .

"Sera wait " I stopped her . She turned around and raised an eyebrow in confusion. I put my hand in the back pocket of my jeans revealing a small . I gave it to her. She opened the box to find the necklace that I got made . The pendant has 'FOREVER' written surrounded with a heart in it . I bite my lips waiting for her reaction .

"I just wanted you to know that I'm not leaving you this time . This time we're gonna be together forever " I said confidently . I'm dying with nervousness inside .
Sera looked at me with shock then sad then happiness then excitement . "Sehunnie ~ missed you so much . But this time I'm also not letting you go .. Ever .." She hugged me so tight that soon my bones would be cracking . But I don't complain ..

We bid our goodbyes this time and I watch her going inside waving at me. Today was amazing ! I don't know what it was .. A date or just a friendly hangout ? It's weird how we both didn't want to clarify it  .. I just realized that I don't mind to be friend zoned by her if that is only way to be with her FOREVER .....

( Authors note : I'm so so sorry . I don't even have a justification for being so late this time . I'm so lazy I tell you . And this is a really short chapter . I'm still trying to figure the whole plot of the story .. Anyways who do you want Sera to be with in the end .. Kai or Sehun .. Comment below :D )
