Chapter 8 : The grooup project

Sera's POV :

I groaned not finding my phone under my pillow . I opened my eyes not so willingly and sat on the bed . Suddenly realization hit in me and I realized we are still in Areum's house . Her house was very big so we all got separate rooms . But where is my phone ! I searched everywhere in the room but couldn't find it . I started to panic and then I saw it was in the bedside table . 'Right ! Of course I didn't check there' I thought sarcastically. It was 11:35 ...

Oh my god ! I never slept this late . But it's actually not that surprising as we watchet a movie till 4:20 . And it was scary and we screamed like lunatics . Areum's mother is very sweet so she had no problem . Her mom is so cool . She even welcomed me wholeheartedly though she just met me , she treated me like I was her daughter like . Now I know where Areum got her sweet nature . Anyways it's already late so I quickly brushed my teeth and got a quick shower changing in the casual outfit I brought with me . I think that I'm the last .

When I reached downstairs , I saw Taehee talking with Areum's mom and she was cooking something . Taehee's eyes met with mine and she said , " "Oh ! You woke up ." I nodded my head "I'm sorry I don't know how I overslept . I never got up so late . Where is Areum , Ahri and Minhee ? Maybe they had plans and I got up too late so-" I started ramming and they both started laughing . "You're not late Sera . I also woke up just now" Taehee said in between laughs . " And the others haven't even woke up. I'm almost done with the food . Why don't you two go and wake them up ?" Areum's mom suggested while giggling at me. I laughed nervously. " Let's go Sera . First we are gonna wake up Ahri." Taehee said evilly . I grinned in response . We went to Ahri's room and she was sleeping peacefully with a smile on her face . I wonder why she is smiling ? Maybe a nice dream ? .

Taehee gave me her are-you-ready look and I nodded . I poked Ahri on her right cheek and Taehee poked on her left cheek . Her face suddenly changed from smiling to frowning . We giggled , she looks like a five years old baby . Awe . Then we started shaking her while saying 'WAKE UP' . "Yah ! Why are you guys disturbing my beauty sleep ? It was such a nice dream " she said glaring at us . " it's almost 12 pm and your still dreaming? Silly !" Taehee said in a mocking tone . Ahri quickly checked her phone and started glaring at us . " it's 11:52 ! I still have 8 minutes left. Now let me sleep ." She started to fall asleep again . " Yah ! Ahri ! " me and Taehee shouted together . Ahri giggled and sat on the bed "Ok ok I'm up " she quickly freshened up and we went to Minhee's room . Minhee was sleeping at the side of the bed . We all went to her and screamed 'BOOOO' at her ear . She quickly opened her eyes and fell from the bed . We started laughing loudly . It was so funny ! Minhee glared at us then joined us at laughing . After we were done laughing Taehee said , "Minhee go and freshen up . Till then we will go and wake Areum as it takes an hour for you to shower " . Minhee giggly nodded "Best of luck . You know how hard it is to wake Areum up ." At that Taehee and Ahri laughed . I wonder if it's really hard to wake Areum up . She doesn't look like a heavy sleeper .

We went to her room and she looks normal , sleeping peacefully . Argh ! What did I expect for her to look like !! I am going insane . We all looked at each other and Minhee whispered 'Let's do the same thing you guys did to wake me up' and we simply nodded . Sounds like a good suggestion. We all screamed together 'WAKE UP' at Areum .

She barely even flinched. She happily let out a sleepy yawn, rolled at the other side and continued sleeping . Ha !!! We were all shocked but Minhee laughed . Ahri shook her head " let's shake her " she suggested. And so we started to shake her but no response . Taehee huffed . I let out an evil smile "I have an idea." . They looked at me suspiciously . Paying no heed I ran to the kitchen to grab a mug of water and then ran upstairs with it . They understood my plan as soon as they saw the mug . They all grinned evilly . I splashed the water on Areum's face . And she abruptly sat up huffing and glared at all of us . It was so funny that we all were rolling on the floor laughing . "Yah!! Are you guys insane ? What if I died by drowning ?! Is this even a way to wake people up?" She pouted. " I'm really sorry Areum . It was actually my plan but you weren't waking up soon.. And u can't drown in this amount of water though." I said mumbling the last part . "Yah ! Sera no need to be so formal . We are your chingus . And Areum you deserve it . We tried screaming , shaking so this was our last option" Minhee said . We all laughed and then went for breakfast .

The weekend was very nice . We went shopping , hanging out , watched movies in theater , played board games , had soo much fun . But as awesome it was , the weekend was over . Minhee told us that next week were going to hang out in her house . My friends are so nice , really lucky to have them in my life . Now it's Monday and I have to go to school much to my dislike . I got dressed quickly . After thanking Mrs. Jane for the delicious breakfast , I drove to school . I was parking my car when my phone beeped .

Hi chingu ! I'm sorry can't come to school today . Family problems . I know you don't like to be alone in chemistry class but I'm helpless . Just try to manage for today ? -Ahri

I understand her problem . I really like Ahri . She helps me a lot in Chemistry class and also understands . She is the calmest among us .. I think I can do one day without her although I'll miss her . I sighed but went to my class . I don't think I have time to meet my friends . I went to my seat and soon Mr. Kwon came and we greeted him . He waved for someone to come inside and told, " Class there is a new student . He joined here last week but will be in this class starting from today so some of you might have seen him ." My eyes quickly went to the tanned guy beside him . Huh ! He is that guy who I bumped outside the cafeteria. How will I bear this class now ! Great I thought . I snapped out of my thoughts when he started introducing himself . "Hello . My name is Kim Jongin. I look forward to read with you guys . I hope we could be friends " he said and smirked as soon as he saw me . Aish ! "Go and sit Jongin " Mr Kwon said to him . He looked at the empty seat beside me and was coming in this direction . Oh! No no no , I won't let this happen ... Ah ! What do I do ??? I quickly kept my bag in the seat and left no space for him to seat . " Can I seat here ?" He politely asked me with a glint in his eyes . "No " I quickly answered. " You should be nice to the new kid " he said pouting . "Aish ! Okay sit but only for today " I said while giving him space . He smirked while sitting down . I hate his smirk !!

"Would you stop that ?!!!" I whisper yelled . "But I'm bored . Entertain me." He pouted . "Ugh! It's not my duty to entertain you ." I said narrowing my eyes at him . He laughed . Huh ! How dare he laugh at m- "Your expression was so cute ,princess." He said cutting my thoughts . And me being me blushed crazily . Sera stop ! I said to myself . "Are you blushing ? Awe .." He said laughing again causing my blush to deepen . I just huffed in annoyance in reply . Don't want to embarrass myself more .
"So I have a project for you all . You have to make a detailed assignment on this reaction . And it is a group work . Your current partner will be your project partner" Mr Kwon said .
Whaaaat ! Noo.. My luck can't be that bad . "Yay ! Me and princess will be group partners . Aren't you excited , princess ?" My annoying partner asked me with too much excitement. I just glared at him and he chuckled . The class ended and I can't be more happier to leave the class and the new kid . As I head to my next class I think about how I will do that detailed assignment . I should just forget about it for now .....
