A week later my alarm started beeping and I shot out of bed heart beating faster than a running cheetah.

Oh yeah! I have to go to school today.

I stopped my alarm and clambered into the shower. I washed my body and started getting dressed, putting my hair up and makeup on. Once I finished everything I grabbed my bag and went downstairs. Yet again Tyler was sat there scoffing down some Frosties.

"Hey," he said once he finished his mouthful. I nodded my head and put two bread in the toaster. He finished his Frosties and put the bowl in the sink as I put my plate in the sink.

Faith came through the door and grabbed a yoghurt from the fridge before grabbing a spoon and yelling: "Go, go, go!" Faith almost screeched in my ear. I widened my eyes whilst looking at the clock and ran over to the car with Faith, Tyler and myself. On the way we picked up Alisha and we drove quicker to school so fast that I was sure we picked up a speeding ticket. Just as we ran in the bell rang and we rushed to our home room.

"Tardy on your first day back Miss. Cameron?" My form tutor Miss Paige said with venom laced in her voice.

"No I just ran to get here for no reason." I sarcastically replied, a death glare came my way and I sat down in my seat to receive my new timetable. My lessons were boring: double science, double maths and double history. What a great day.

The bell rang and I sprung up in my seat to rushed to the first floor. My teacher Mr James was waiting outside the door for my arrival probably.

"Aah Miss Cameron good to see you back." Mr James said raising his eyebrows. I nodded my head in a you too kind of nod.

Soon enough the rest of the class came in and we sat in our respected places.

"Okay so we're going to be doing partner work for now on and I'm going to pair you up with the person working up to your standard." Sir said reading out names.

"Cameron and Woods, Ben and Jerry..." My eyes widened and I looked around the room to see Gabriel looking at me with a smirk. Gulping I went over to his desk and took a seat next to him.

"Are you feeling okay now?" Gabriel asked eyeing my body up and down. I nodded, suddenly self conscious. "Sorry about Fiona, she's sometimes a bit batshit crazy." He said ding the crazy signals with his hands.

"More like a physchopath." I murmured under my breath. Somehow he heard me and shrugged his shoulders in agreement.

"Okay class so with your partner, you will be doing an experiment by seeing how you can purify water, seawater to be exact." Mr James explained. I did this in my first year of high school so this is gonna be so boring.

I grabbed what we needed at the front whilst Gabriel got the seawater and goggles. It's a good job we were basically next to a beach. We grabbed the bunsen burner and placed it underneath the mat and waited until it purified.

This experiment was so easy, I literally remember doing this in year 7.

"Once you have finished with the experiment, I want you to work on the report after school or this evening for this for tomorrow's lesson." I groaned under my breath. That meant I'd have to work with him outside of school.

"So, what's your phone number?" Gabriel whispered to me.

"Gimme your phone and I'll type it in." He shrugged his shoulders and gave me his iPhone 6s. I put my number in and gave it back to him.

"Wait, don't you need my phone number?" He asked, I gave him my iPhone 5s and he placed his number in.

"I'll call you after school and we can meet up later." I shrugged my shoulders and grabbed my bag rest to head out the door. The bell ran and I bolted out there.
