Two parts of bright and blue,
Expressing equal parts of you,
Let not either take control,
Perfect happiness is as unnatural,
As perfect sadness seems to be.

Life is hard and then we die,
If you live without an artists' eye,
Let your outlet fill your soul,
Drinking from that endless cup.

Let the sadness overwhelm you,
But never allow it control,
The beauty of the tragic world,
Somehow seems unbreakable.

The cheer of wild life inhale your beating heart,
And watch it crumble round the edges,
That fragile little light,
Hold fast.

We try our hardest,
That's all that can be asked,
But of yourself question,
Will any of it truly last?

Allow yourself a bit of comfort,
When delving in the dark,
That sometimes we don't need the light,
We are shining like the stars.
