My Life (Part 1 Of Akemi's story, After My Daughter)

The Day Before...

Akemi's POV
It's been a couple of weeks since I was kidnapped. I'm back at home and done recovering, I still have scars and bruises but they're minor. Takashi visits me a lot, I'm glad. Right now I'm sitting on the couch, reading again. My mom is making dinner and dad is off on a job quest.
~knock on door~
I see my mom walk over to the window to look at who it is. She been a little crazy about me lately.
"Come on in!" She yells.
Levy and Gajeel walk in and Levy has a huge grin on her face.
"Lucy! I'm so happy!" Levy says.
"Why?" My mom questions with a sarcastic look.
"Gajeel asked me out on a date then asked me to be his girlfriend" Levy says.
"Oh that's nice" my mom says.
"Gihe" Gajeel chuckles, and then smiles.
"That's rare, take a picture!" I say
Levy and Lucy burst out laughing. Gajeel frowns.
"Aw man! I told ya!" I say.
"Oh Lucy what's tomorrow's date?" Levy asks
"December twenty fourth" My mom says happily.
"I have a quest tomorrow so Akemi here is your gift" Levy says and tosses me a small box.
"Thanks," I say as I catch the box.
Then the door swung open "I'm home!!" Dad yells. "Oh sorry you're all right here" he says and chuckles.
"Hi dad!" I yell.
"Hi sweetie," he yells back.
"What took so long?" Mom asks.
"Tell you later!" He says.
"Okay!" Mom says.
"You can open it" Levy says.
"Oh I knew that" I say and open the box it was a jewel covered hairband.
"Do you like it?" She asks.
"Yea it's cute" I say and smile.
~knock on door~
Mom looks outside. "Come on in" she yells.
The door opens and Takashi walks in. "Hey Akemi" he says, walks over and sits next to me.
"Hey Takashi," I say and smile.
"So what are you doing tomorrow?" Takashi asks.
"Going shopping with mom," I say.
"Oh.." He says.
"Why?" I ask.
"Cause I wanted to see if we could go on another date for your birthday.." He says.
"Oh, well you still can, you just have to wait till after I'm done with shopping" I say.
"Oh okay, yay" he says.
I smile. "I love you, Takashi" I say.
"I love you too." He says and smiles back.
"Hey mom, when's dinner? I'm hungry." I say.
"It's almost done..?"she says then sniffes the air.
"Mom did you burn dinner again? Or is that dad?" I ask.
"Yea I did," She says and runs in the kitchen.
"Let's just go to a restaurant, mom, it's easier" I say.
"Alright I guess it wouldn't hurt, Natsu!" Mom yells.
"Coming!" Dad yells and comes running down the stairs.
"Wait where's Happy?" I ask.
"Oh he's on a date with Charla." Natsu says.
"Oh okay" I say and stand up.
"Takashi, you wanna come too?" Mom asks.
"Sure" he says.
