Melanie's POV

I woke up this morning with Valerie calling again. She can be really annoying sometimes.

Hello.. I say

Me-el-aan-ie mo-om di-eed- Once I heard those words, hanged up, dropped my phone, and broke down.

My mom died. Valerie texted me saying she died in a car accident. If I find out what bastard it is I swear I will kill them. I can't live without my mom. I knew I had to go. Memories are going through my head. They day we had our all girls day. When I was little. When she agreed that I could date Nash. During break-ups she was there for me. And now I lost her. How many things am I going to loose.

Nash POV

I was going to start filming a video when I heard crying. Not from Skylynn or my mom it was Melanie. I saw here leaning on the wall with her knees up to her chest and crying. I sat right next to her and comforted her. She explained everything to me. It broke my heart seeing her like this.

Melanie's POV

Today is New Years Eve and I'm trying to be in the best condition. Right now I'm getting ready to go to the party. I'm feeling fine right now but remembering my mom makes me break down. In two weeks in her funeral and I'm trying to be as strong as possible. Katie came to the house and helped me decide what to wear so she chose a nice short dress with some heels and I actually liked it.(outfit above) I was left alone in my room when Nash calls me downstairs. Nash looks handsome. He is dressed casual and formal at the same time.

I got in the car and drove to so call Sam's house. We got there and directly Nash went to Cam, Matt, Taylor, and Carter. I got lost immediately because there was so much people.As I was going to get a drink someone grabs my. Sam.

What do you want? I ask

You must be drunk or something but that night I know you weren't.. I trusted you Sam... I even loved you Sam but you betrayed me... You broke my heart... Now please I don't want to see you ever again.

I didn't want to stay here longer. I got a glass of white wine they were giving and went outside and sat on the steps since this is a mansion . It was 11 now and really chilly.How stupid am I not to bring a sweater. 2016 is coming close and right now I don't feel excited when I use to be. I drank a little from the wine. Remembering everything that happened to me this year hurts me. I lost everything. And now how can I get it back.

Now it 11:30. I'll just stay out here. What is the point of going back in.

Nash POV

People were saying to get the person you were going to kiss when the clocks strikes 12. I already knew who I wanted to kiss. Taylor G grabbed my wrist. She thinks I'm going to kiss her. I looked for Melanie everywhere but I still couldn't find her. It was 11:36 and still couldn't find her. I was anxious to find her. I went outside to take fresh air when I see her sitting on the steps. Now its 11:40. I sat next to her and saw that she has been crying. I admire her beautiful features.

She leans her head on my shoulder. I held her small hand in my hand.I put on my suit jacket over her since she is really cold. I love this girl more than anything. Then reality hits me and tells me this is the girl I want to be with for the rest of my life. I check my phone and now its 11:55. Time.

Melanie's POV

Nash holds my hand and reality hits me. I haven't lost him. He's the love of my life. Nothing better could have happen. He is the type of guy I want. Always by my side no matter what.

Nash stands up and takes my hand to go inside. I stood up and followed him. I gave him his suit jacket. Everyone started counting down...

5! 4! 3! 2!...1!

Nash turned me around to him on 2, grabbed my cheeks and pressed his lips against mine on 1. It felt like we were the only ones there. Fireworks, a zoo and butterflies in my stomach. This kiss was like never before. Our lips moved in sync. It was passionate. This kiss is better than all of the ones we had.

We stopped and looked at eachothers eyes. I love this boy so much. As I look around I saw that all Magcon was filming and taking pictures. We say Happy New Year to them and then Nash grabs me again.

Where are we going now? I ask.

I wanna take you around the set than have some fun...

Wait let me put on my pumps.
