I stood there, frozen in fear and motionless, the creatures unmoving, watched me, studied me. One of the creatures stepped forward, slowly getting closer to me. I couldn't move, my limbs were like stone, it started picking up speed as it got closer, and then.. it stopped, only inches from my face. I swear I could smell its breath, it smelled like rot, I could make out even the slightest detail on its body. It stood almost level with me, it's face was completely taken up by its mouth, full of teeth, bits of flesh and gore, it's skin looked as if it had been stripped from someone's body and sown onto it. It's hands looked like claws, the nails fractured and splintered, covered in blood.
It took me a few seconds before I could get a full breath in, that's when the stench had finally gotten to me, I doubled over and puked, when I had gathered my composure and looked up...it was smiling at me...then it spoke."S o o n..."
It turned and walked away, regrouping with the other horrible abominations, as soon as it had entered the mass of creatures, they turned to smoke and disappeared. I could feel the fear coursing through my veins, like a black liquid seeping into my arteries, I stumbled and ran as fast as possible away from the station. I watched behind me as I ran, I turned a corner to fast and then...
*BAM!*
"Ow!" She yelled as she flew back. I screamed and curled into the fetal position. "Please, oh god please don't hurt me..." I pleaded as I shook violently. "Hey what the hell asshole?" She looked over at me and instantly changed from being mad to being very apologetic. "Oh, I'm so very sorry,I didn't mean to be so rude." I looked up at her, and as I looked at her I felt something change in my heart, it was sudden and amazing. I looked at her sweet face, her cute glasses, and her beautiful short brown hair. "Hey, you ok there?" She spoke softly as she extended her hand to help me up. "Y-Yeah, I'm fine just a bit shook up." I reached out for her hand and stood up.
"Shook up? What happened to you, what got you all worked up?" I noticed that she is almost as tall me, she wore a pullover name brand sweatshirt and black jeans. I stammered with an answer, I couldn't think straight. "Um...I...uh... thought some bullies were coming for me, so...I ran, b-but it was just you." She smiled, I looked down only to notice I hadn't let go of her hand when she helped me up, I blushed slightly and had coffee up with an excuse. "I-i need to get home, the train is leaving very soon, I gotta go." "Hold on a minute, I can give you a ride if you want one." She reached into her pocket and dangled keys in front of my face. I smiled and nodded.
I followed her to her vehicle, we both got in and she had given me a ride home, we hadn't said anything to each other for a good while. "So..what's your name?" I froze, I couldn't believe I had gotten into a vehicle with some girl whose name I didn't know. "M-My name, oh, I'm Anthony...and you are?" "Well, how about I give you a hint, but you have to try and guess." I smiled and agreed to her terms. "Ok, I'm named after a color." I thought for a moment and said the first color that came to mind. "Red?" She shook her head. "How about... Magenta?" She laughed and shook her head."No, my name is Grey, nice to meet you."We pulled up to the end of my drive, I told her to stop and that I could walk the rest of the way, she agreed and unlocked my door, I opened the door and took one step out, she grabbed my hand and slipped a piece of paper into it, she kissed my cheek and sent me on my way. "B-Bye!" I waved as she left, I opened the small note she had given me, it said:
"Dear Anthony,
I enjoyed our time together, we should hang out sometime."

Call me ;)
Your acquaintance,
GreyI smiled and felt the same feeling again, only for it to dissapear by the sound of my dad's beer can crumple and fall out the ground behind me, he belches and speaks. "Hey! Whathe hell tooks you so long?" He drunkenly waddles towards me, he reaches out for my shoulder and ends up punching me in the arm. "I was late for the train, a friend gave me a ride home..." his face changes and forms into one of a very angry man."LIAR! You don't haff any friendsh, and you nevar will." He grabs my shirt and drags me into the house, I escape his grasp and run straight for my room, slamming the door in the process.
I slide down my door to the floor, sighing stressfully. I pull out my small mp3 and headphones, I've had this small machine for about 5 years now, so naturally there are dents, scratches, and chipped paint. I turned on the music and reached to the bottom of my sock drawer pulling out a small wooden box, the latch on it looked old and broken, the exterior of the box was shabby and a dull black wood. I held it for a moment before I opened it, I smiled and cried a single tear... this box meant everything to me...and yet it's destroying me...
