"You called for me, Dad?"
Sanji Vinsmoke stood in front of his father, dressed in his traditional suit with a long black tie. His black shoes glinted in the low light of his father's meeting room. The sleeves of his shirt and jacket were rolled up his arms and his free hand was holding a lit cigarette, his other hand lying lazily in his pocket.
"I did indeed. I have another job for you," the shadowy figure of the Vinsmoke family's head said, his smirk flashing through the shadows.
A bounty poster was flourished in front of the young assassin's face. Sanji took it in his hands and furrowed his eyebrows.
"Roronoa Zoro?" he read, taking in the man's serious expression captured by the photographer.
"Indeed. The Pirate Hunter, Roronoa Zoro. He's become quite a nuisance as of late so we need to take care of him. I trust you won't turn down my request, but just as a little incentive, you will be allowed to keep his bounty upon his disposal," his father told him.
"320 million? Well, that'll certainly keep me going for quite a while," Sanji joked, taking a puff of his cigarette. "I just hope he's worth all that money. It's been quite a while since I had a good fight,"
"He is not to be taken lightly, Sanji. He's a bloodthirsty killer who practices the three-sword style art of swordplay. He's no pushover," Sanji's father warned.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. You got his whereabouts or what?"
After collecting all the necessary information from his father, Sanji set off on his journey to the island where this Roronoa Zoro was expected to be. According to Sanji's father, he was a member of the notorious Straw Hat crew, a name Sanji had certainly heard of in the past.
Despite his father offering to have him escorted in a larger vessel, Sanji chose to travel alone in his small boat, the island not being too far away.
As he was sailing, he sifted through the many newspaper clippings and Marine reports that his father had given to him in a big folder with Zoro's face clipped at the corner. As he read, he couldn't help but smile and laugh at the amount of trouble this man and his crew had caused all across the seas.
He soon came to the photographs that had been included so Sanji knew exactly who he was targeting head to foot. There were pictures of him before the famous 'Straw Hat disappearance' incident on the Saoboady Archipelago, muscly and defined. According to the research, he was 19 in the pictures Sanji was looking at now.
"That would make him 21 now," Sanji muttered to himself. "The same age as me,"
Sanji found the pictures of him as he would be now... But he suddenly felt strange. The picture he was looking at currently was one in which Zoro had been looking directly at the camera. He had been mid-motion, yet his thin and piercing eyes had managed to lock with the lens and he still looked fierce and intimidating.
Sanji's blue eyes locked on to the near-black ones of the man pictured before him. He could sense the ferocity behind his stare, yet Sanji was captivated by his face. Because of the movement the photographer had managed to capture him in, the water that had been on his face was flicked off into the air and sparkled all around the young man. His green hair was short but Sanji could see it had swayed slightly with the force of movement.
The shadows of his face highlighted his features from the very corners of his face, still allowing his main features to be shown. He was chiseled and defined, nothing like what Sanji would have expected. He, himself, certainly didn't have that much definition to his face. He frowned slightly, now feeling like his face was too rounded and childish, but he quickly distracted himself with the picture once more.
