C.THIRTEEN - Vanessa

¥ Tasha's POV ¥

It has been 2 whole weeks and Vanessa hasn't come to school or called me, it's very suspicious; all the teachers at school keep asking questions about her but it's the first time that I can't answer it.

I just went over to Vanessa's house to check up on her but no one answered the door! It seemed like there was nobody inside the house. Where are they ?!

• One week later  •

It has been 3 weeks now and I heard nothing from Vanessa or her mum. Im really tired of worrying about Vanessa; I actually give up and I don't care where she's gone. Which is surprising because normally I would care.

So happy that next week we finally have 1 week holiday and that I can wake up late and sleep the whole day.

As I entered my final lesson this whole week, I glanced and saw Heather and Taylor waiting for me to sit next to them, as I walked towards them I heard a weird voice calling my name out just behind me, it sounded as if it was Vanessa calling for help, I turned and no one was their except the damn teacher.

I don't know, for the past weeks it felt as if something was wrong and that everyone was acting strange without Vanessa. I just missed her annoying voice!

I am so buzzing I just got invited to the first American house party. I can't wait my holiday was all planned and everything was just going to great, the only thing missing was Vanessa.

• First day back •

Fuck my life!! I DON'T want to go to school today, I'm so tired I didn't even get any sleep at all. You know how I am when I don't get my sleep, I'll get all cranky and pissed, like you ain't don't wanna mess with me bitch !

First lesson and I was half asleep in chemistry until someone familiar entered lesson late. Guess who I'm talking about....Vanessa. She finally came to school and everyone was staring at her as if she was a ghost. I think I was the only person not giving a fuck she's back to school.

I had a free period so me, Heather and Taylor went out for a stroll near the benches and we saw Aundrey, we were just chilling and talking until everyone stop talking and it was pitch silence. Vanessa came towards me wanting to talk to me in private but none of us allowed it. Even Aundrey was angry with her because they were meant to meet after her party but Vanessa didn't show up and Aundrey was by himself for an hour waiting.

Vanessa begged me to talk to her so I decided I wanted to hear her. So we walked behind the school and she told me everything about what happened with her mum. I felt so sorry for her but I was also scared, she then told me that she was trying to control the anger and the full moon so that's why she didn't come in. She explained everything and that I was going to be one but on my 14th birthday that's coming soon.

As I got back home I told my parents everything and they told me not to stay with Vanessa because she's dangerous and stronger, that never stops me from staying away from Vanessa. It actually encourages me more to sneak behind my parents back and do the opposite of what they are asking.
