Dark secret!

C.TWELVE - Birthday

¥ Vanessa POV ¥

I'm so excited because it's just 2 days till my birthday and I'm finally turning 14. Im having a birthday party and all my friends are coming over, I wish my friends back in England can come to I miss them so much!

Taylor wants me to come with her and the others, to go do are nails today. I'm really busy but I decided to go; It was fun.

• Birthday •

It's the day of my birthday and my mum gave me a huge hug in the morning. I got ready for my party that's at the after noon so I had time to set everything up. I heard a knock at the door and I saw Heather, Taylor and Natasha with birthday gift. I was so excited when they came in, my mum was cooking and preparing the party so they came to my room.

It's about 6pm and the party has started, a lot of people from school came and some of my relatives, it was such fun until someone else knock on the door, everyone was to busy having fun and drinking so I had to open it; I saw Aundrey carrying a box. I was so speechless.....Didn't know what he was doing here or who invited him?

"Happy birthday Vanessa!" Aundrey smiles as he gives me the box.

"Thank you so much, come in" as I widen the door for him to come through. He then comes closer toward me and gives me a hug. It was so awkward.

As I leaned back, I just giggled and walked away because my mum was calling me. The lights went off and it was pitch back, from nowhere everyone sang the 'happy birthday' song and a birthday cake entered. As I blew out the candle I made a wish.... That I can't tell anyone! It was the best day ever.

As everyone started going home, I decided to open the birthday gift, the first one was a book and a pen that my mum gave and she told me "it's not just an ordinary pen and book its a special kind for special people, you got to write everything that's going through your mind in it and keep it a secret; remember it's really special so don't give it to anyone, it my grift for you to remember me and to communicate to me!" I actually didn't get anything she said but I took it because i need it for school.

The last gift I opened was from Aundrey and it was a dream catcher and it had a note attached to it saying,
"I heard that you can't go to sleep lately and I thought this will help, it's a dream catcher to capture all the bad dreams. Hope you like it Aundrey xx" it was so cute of him but I don't have bad dream but I still hung it next to my bed.

• 12pm •

My mum called me down to talk to me, but I didn't know what for. As I got to the bottom of the stair she told me to set next to her, she was acting so strange that was worrying me and then she told me 'everything about her and why we moved here'..... I actually thought she was drunk and lying about everything but she wasn't...... I was so scared to go next to her!!

She then explained in full details that I was born a 'werecayote' and that she is the strongest werewolf standing 'Atroz Sabueso' * that means Heinous hound in Spanish.* She told me to promise never to tell anyone about anything she told me, but I could promise anything; then she gave me a matching necklace to where and never to be taken off.

She then informed me that their is more like me a 'werewolf' but also more dangerous creatures even stronger. She told me that Tasha is a 'shapeshifter' But she didn't turn yet, she will turn on her birthday.

I was so surprised when she told me everything but GLAD, however a bomb shell exploded........ My mum told me she has to leave me because it's really dangerous for her to stay, she then told me that her human friend Katherine will be my guardian. I had mixed emotion, I was so angry that she had to leave me with a stranger that I never met, before. I'm sad because I might not see her again; I'm confused that she has to leave me now.

I then hugged my mum so tight not wanting to let her go, I told her " when do you need to go?" She then replied in tears, " Tomorrow morning, my darling."  I then ran upstairs sobbing my head off, and lying on my bed until I fell asleep.
