Can't help falling in love with you

When Arlo woke up again, he looked around confused. "Zander? Time 's it?"

"One, why?"  He asked.

"Oh my god why did you let me sleep for that long?" Asked Arlo in a panicked voice.

"Baby, you needed it. Don't worry about it, all your work is done". Alexzander said reassuring the boy, Arlo  slowly cuddled closer to him again.

"I'm kind of hungry, could you maybe be the best boyfriend ever and make me lunch?" Arlo asked, batting his eyelashes.

"Spoiled thing, I'll make you a sandwich but that's all you're getting". Said Alexzander while walking to the kitchen.

"Thank you!" Yelled Arlo as he laid back, thinking about how stupid he was for drinking this much. Arlo got his lunch and Alexzander started talking.

"My mom invited us for dinner one of these days, do you wanna go?" He asked.

"You mean meet your parents?" Answered Arlo.

Alexzander nodded, "Thought it'd be fun".

"Uh yea, sure I guess". Said Arlo, worrying about it.

"Alright I'll give her a call". Alexzander said, kissing Arlo's cheek.

The day was pretty uneventful considering Arlo was sick and Alexzander had a shit ton of work but it didn't matter, they enjoyed it. When evening arrived, Arlo slowly walked to the living room.

"Alexie?" He called, standing in the doorway as he waited for a reply.

"Yes, babe?" Answered Alexzander, looking at his boy.

"Can we watch a movie, you've been working all day". He asked as he slowly started walking in.

Alexzander sighed. "Yea alright, go pick out a movie. I'll be there in a second". He went to the kitchen to make popcorn while Arlo carefully chose a movie.

"Alex, are you done?" Asked Arlo when he made a choice.

"Coming!" Alexzander walked in and saw Arlo laying on the couch, he looked like a kitten and Alex felt his heart melt. "What movie did you pick?"

"The notebook". Alexzander groaned. Arlo softly slapped his chest. "Don't be so mean".

Alexzander chuckled and pulled the boy to his chest. "Well, put it on then".

The movie started and both boys watched it intently, well, Alexzander watched Arlo while his boy watched the movie. He stroked the boys arm lovingly before he started talking. "I called mum, she's very excited to meet you". He said softly, scared he'd ruin the mood if he spoke any louder.

"That's great", Mumbled Arlo keeping his eyes on the screen in front of him.

"When am I meeting your parents though?" Asked Alexzander, immediately regretting it as Arlo tensed up.

"Shhh watch the movie Alex." The boy answered.

"But-"

"I said watch the movie". Snapped Arlo as he dropped his head back on Alexzanders lap, sighing softly. Alexzander trailed his fingers through Arlo's hair, wondering about the boys' reaction.

When the movie ended, Arlo was full on bawling. Alexzander chuckled lightly.

"Didn't think you were this emotional kitten". He said as he wiped away his tears.

"Shut up!" Said Arlo slapping his arm. He wiped his eyes. Alexzander hugged him tight and slowly carried him to the bedroom. While they were cuddling, he thought this was his chance to ask about Arlo's reaction.
