you had always wanted a tattoo, so when your friend bokuto told you that he was going to get one from this place that his friend worked, you decided to tag along.
upon entering, you suddenly felt nervous. you weren't scared or anything before getting there but once you arrived, the reality of the situation hit you like a ton of bricks. the guy working in the front seemed to be close with bokuto as they chatted happily.
when boku finally remembered that you were there, he introduced you to the dark haired worker.
"oh yeah! kuroo, this is (y/n). (y/n), this is kuroo tetsurou, my best friend," boku said.
"so he's your best friend now? i see how it is," you joked. kuroo laughed at this and boku just pouted, saying how you were both his best friends.
"i know, i know. i was just joking. but really, when are we gonna get the tattoos we came here for?" you asked.
"oh, right! i almost forgot about that!" boku exclaimed. you deadpanned at this but kuroo just led the two of you back into a room and asked who wanted to go first. of course boku volunteered to go before you.
as soon as kuroo started on the owl that boku had requested to be put on his shoulder, he started cursing loudly. you found it quite funny though, and started giggling.
"oi! don't laugh at my pain! just wait til' you feel the needle in your skin! it hurts like hell!" boku hooted.
--
when boku's tattoo was done, he beamed and kept shoving his shoulder in your face, telling you over and over again how cool it was. he was so excited that he forgot to thank kuroo, making the dark haired boy playfully scold him for not appreciating his hard work.
when it was your turn you sat down, telling kuroo that you wanted a small paper airplane on your collarbone. he told you to pull your arms out of the sleeves of your shirt so that he could reach your clavicle without you being uncomfortable. you did as he told you to, blushing at how close he was to your neck and how inviting his lips seemed at the moment.
the needle really didn't hurt as much as bokuto said it did and the owl boy got annoyed at how you didn't holler in pain like he did.
"you can let your feelings out,
(y/n)-chan. i know it hurts and it isn't good to hold your emotions in," he kept saying.--
your tattoo ended up looking like this and you made sure to thank kuroo for doing a great job at the adorable little art.
while boku paid, kuroo kept checking you out and every time you caught him looking, it sent chills down your spine. you had to admit, the boy was quite attractive with his dark colored bedhead, tattoos showing from the black muscle tank he wore, and his piercing eyes. he ultimately looked like someone that wouldn't get along as well as he did with your dorky best friend, but then again, looks can be decieving.
bokuto went out before you so that you could pay while he cooled off — it was hot in the parlor — in his car. once he left you alone with kuroo, you started flirting and joking around with him. before you left, he gave you his number and told you to call him if you ever wanted another tattoo or a piercing, winking as he handed your phone back. you could have melted right then and there —whether it would've been from the hotness of the parlor or from the hotness of kuroo, you didn't know.
let's just say that you definitely started seeing more of the dork that was kuroo tetsurou.
