Today I'm packing for our vacation. We are going a whole bunch of places across the country. I just cant wait. (oh by the way, we are back to the present time.)
First, we are going to the grand canyon! One of my favorite places to go there is on the trail down the canyon. I hope we are able to go down on the trail, that would be super fun. Oh, wait,we have Logan this time... I forgot about that part I guess that means we probably wont do it. *sad face*
Oh well, I'm sure things will work out fine.
I remember when i was little, we were on our way to a family reunion in the mountains...
We Would sing songs on the way and my daddy would tell stories about reunions before we started going with him. Like one time like three or four years ago him and our uncle Stingy ( they have strange nick names, like my dad is yinners but let's cut to the chase.) they got drunk and did this thing called sing, sing song and they sang a song that was bad anyways but they made bit worse.
There is a lot more but I am wasting time.
We stopped about five minutes away from the Grand Canyon and got ice cream. We ate our ice cream and got to our destination. When we got there we looked over the side of the canyon and my mom made me move back because she didn't want me to fall like that guy did 12 years ago.
After that we went into the visitor center and I thought I was going to fall because of the part over the canyon with a clear flooring. I started to cry and my mom had to take me to the car and I didn't get anything but a book. I wasn't so happy.
They made me go back to camp with my uncle and aunt. That made me even more sad and I cried the whole time we went back. The thing is, I wouldn't have cried if my mom would have told me that I won't fall.
When we got back I sang a song to get my mind off of things. I sang my favorite song of all time. It's's called "the climb." have you ever heard of it? After I made my way to my camp spot to get money for the family auction, I noticed that something felt different about my tent and the things in that area.
I got out of the tent and realized that everyone was quiet and staring at me. I asked my uncle stingy why everyone was quiet and staring at me, thats when he took me into town to see my parents. That's when my mom had told me she needed to tell me something very important.
"I love you very much and I know you like it here but we need to go home," my mom said.
"Why do we have to go home?" I was starting to get worried.
"You see, the reason we have to go home is because of grandma grandpa." she said, "grandma just called."
"Grandma and grampa are leaving for a while, they are going to Florida, but guess what?" my dad said.
"What?"
"They're taking us." My parents said as if they practiced that. "They are taking us to disney world!"
