I was sitting, well more like swinging, on the tire swing hanging from the oldtree in my front yard. I remember as a kid swinging on this all day. I live at my parents old house, the house I grew up in. When they passed aways a few years ago the house was given to me. I had my head phones in as I pushed myself by kicking the tree's large trunk.

I had my music up so loud I couldn't hear a car pass by. I don't know why I felt so happy. Maybe it was because of yesterday. Running into Andrew again and talking to him. I still don't think I fully forgive him even though I said I did. He is going to have to prove himself to me. I defiantly know I want to forgive him though. I say all this as I sing along to one of the songs Andrew wrote in his first band. Possibly I was singing too loud...

Suddenly a few minutes later I feel some one grab me from behind forcing the swing to a stop. Immediately I screamed and freaked out for a few seconds before turning around ready to punch whoever was grabbing me until I realized who it was.

I let out an annoying sigh of releife and tok out my head phones. "Andrew don't do that to me! You scared the shit out of me." I said.

"Who was that you where listening to?" He said with a smirk as he took a few steps back. "Sounds like a pretty awesome band."

"It was." I said standing up turning off my iPod. "I don't know why the leader of the band would ever want to break it so he could start a new one."

"I'd be happy to explain it to you later tonight."

"What do you mean by that?" I said as a walked to the front porch and sat on the bench in front of my house.

"Wanna go to a bar tonight? We can talk further about me. As selfish as that sounds it seems to be the only thing on your mind." He sat next to me.

"I'm just confused thats all."

"Well then you could except my offer. If you drink at all that is."

"Oh I drink no doubt about that. Ohh alright I'll go because if I know you well enough I know your not going to give up till I say yes."

"Haha great! I'll meat you there at...7pm?"

"Sure. Sound good to me. But one question.. How did you find my house?"

"Well you were not answering my text or calls so I decited to come ask your parents if they knew where you lived and I found you here on the old tire swing."

"Oh yeah. Well your lucky I live here now. My parents passed away a few years ago and the house is in my name now."

"Oh i'm so sorry Emma I had no idea."

"Its alright. I'm over it now. Still miss them sometimes but i'm good."

He looked at me and smiled. "Its nice to talk to you again Emz it really is."

"Emz? Ha. That's the first anyone has called me that in a while."

"Well I guess I'm bringing it back then."

I couldn't help myself but smile. He made me smile I just had to. "Well I guess I better head inside to get ready then if i'm going to the bar with you."

"Should I pick you up?"

"No I can drive my self. Thanks though."

"You sure? You're not going to get drunk are you? Hahaha."

"Psh please. I don't drink that much."

"Haha alright. See you later tonight."

He got up and walked away. He left. I walked into my house and started getting preped up for tonight. Why was Andrew acting so odd? So friendly? He never acted like this last time we hung out. Maybe he has changed? I wouldn't think that much. I could ask him that tonight at the bar as well. I also may have lied just a bit when I said I didn't drink that much. It depends on how the night goes. I entered my bathroom and opened up my cabinet behind the mirror and pulled out my makeup........
