It was Eric. Inside I knew I still loved him but I had to act as if I didn't. I say "why do you want to talk to me, I thought it was over." He says " you see, that's the thing. ". Our conversation goes a bit like this.
Eric: stop saying things behind Jessica's back
He says it really loud. I've never seen him this angry before.
Me: I've never said a thing about her
Eric: stop lying
Me: I'm not, you know I don't do lies
Eric: I guess your right I'm not really in a good mood
Me: you should go
Eric: no we need to talk
Me: about what! There's nothing to talk about
While I walk away he holds on to my hands and grabs me.
Me: okay, I don't know what's going on but you better stop
Eric: I'm so sorry I really am, I never meant to hurt you
Me: is that it then, I want to go
Eric: please forgive me, I want to go back to normal
I start shouting
Me: well who called it off in the first place, it was you!
Eric: but I made the wrong decision
This time I get really pissed and make him let go off my hand. I gather all my strength and finally say
Me: I'm over it, everything's over. There will never be an us
Eric runs after me, and says wait wait, but I go in to the girls bathroom and hide.
Later on I walk back home and I get a text from Lisa saying "meet me at the park, please now" I reply "ok" and I meet her at the park. Lisa calls me and tells me to sit.
Lisa: are you ok?
Me: I'm fine
Lisa: then why did you look so sad today
Me: it's a long story, you don't want to know
Lisa: yes, I need to know. I just want you to know that I really like you and I hope we can be friends and trust each other
I think for a while and decide if I should tell her.
I tell her everything.
Lisa: oh my god, why is he such an asshole
Me: I don't know but I still love him. And I pushed him away
Lisa holds my hands
Lisa: you did the right thing. Don't you get it he'll keep on doing this unless you stop him. I'm really proud of you. Remember, next time if you need me I will always be there for you no matter what.
Me: thanks a lot Lisa
Lisa: well I need to get going, wanna walk back home together
Me: yeh, sure
Then we walked, talked and laughed all the way until home. I really believe that Lisa could be my new friend.
