The weekend went surprisingly well. On Saturday, my mom felt less stressed than usual and she took us to watch a movie with Stephen. We were both aloud to take a friend, so of course, Melanie came and my brother's friend, Dillon.

Melanie and I decided on watching a cute Disney movie, so we ordered six tickets and met the others inside the theatre.

We had gotten there pretty early, so we found a table to sit at until time. A little while before the movie, everyone decided to go to the restroom, leaving me and the two huge buckets of popcorn.

I looked up and down from my phone to make everyone think I was actually busy and not completely alone and awkward. The restroom line was long, so Melanie and my mom would be a while before coming out. Stephen and Dillon bounded out a little while after they'd went in.

They sat and started talking. I kept doing the 'I have a life' thing. In one of my various times of looking up, I saw a familiar blue shirt. It was standing with one of the popular musically-talented guys from school, who I recognized as Zach. The guy with the blue shirt was turned around, so I couldn't see his face, but I couldn't miss the unmistakable curls. It was Michael.

I wasn't about to waltz over there like an old friend, so I just sat there, practically staring like a stalker. A few moments later, Stephen caught my drift and looked in the direction I was. "Who are you staring at?" He said, snapping me out of my gaze.

"Oh, no one," I said, looking down and unlocking my phone for no reason. "Well he's coming over here," Stephen said, pointing at the slim figure walking in my direction. I quickly looked down, hoping he wouldn't see. This actually worked until he ran into Melanie who was walking back to the table where we were. "Hey Michael!" She said, with a smile. "Hey, it's nice to see you," he said giving back the same smile. "Cas is here," she said, loud enough so I could hear. My head snapped up quickly out of natural habit, so of course he saw me. I waved slightly and gave a quick smile, then retreated back down at my phone.

"She's just being shy," Melanie said, "Go say hi, I'm going to get some candy." In the midst of Michael walking over, Stephen said aloud, "Is that the guy you've been talking about? I heard you and mom last night." Of course, as he finished, Michael had already arrived and caught most of it. "Yeah probably," I said, quickly. I needed him to hush. "She thinks you have a cute smile!" Stephen practically yelled, then ran off to another table and hid behind it, laughing with Dillon. Michael brought forth his amazing smile in their direction and sat down at the table.

"Really?" He said, looking in my direction. "Well, I guess so, yeah," I said, not daring to look up. "Cas, yours is beautiful," he said, taking my hand again as he did just the other day. This forced me to look up and smile. He brushed my hair away from the bruise, which was now starting to fade. He looked satisfied with the result, so he let my hair fall back afterward. "What movie are you going to watch?" He asked, his hand leaving mine. "Some cute Disney movie, what about you?" I responded, putting my phone in my pocket. "Scary movie, you should come watch," he said, producing a persuasive smile that proudly stated he was not going to give up on convincing me.

"I already got my ticket for the other one, so I'm going to that one," I said, looking him in the eye for one of the first times. "But it will be fun! Here, I'll go get another ticket," he said, teasingly getting up. I stood in front of him so he couldn't get up. He giggled contagiously, and I started.

My mom then started walking back to our table. "What are you boys doing over there-oh who's this?" She asked, looking over. "This is Michael," I said, lightly. He attempted to hold in his giggles. "Hi, I'm Karen, Cas's mom," my mom said, holding out her hand. "Hi, I'm Michael," he said, shaking her hand. "Well since you're not coming to my movie, then I guess I'll go on," he said walking away, acting sad. I rolled my eyes and said, "Or you can just come to my movie." His eyes lightened and smiled and said, "Thought you'd never ask!" He then returned the ticket he was holding back to Zach and pulled out a ticket that actually belonged to him.

I shook my head and grinned, while attempting to pick up and hold onto the many things Melanie had brought back to our table. "Like I was going to go to a scary movie by myself," he said, rolling his eyes. I smiled and we went into the showroom, only to be welcomed by about 10 million people.
