It was finally that time of year. Where everything was bright with different colored lights, Christmas trees beings placed in homes, treats being made and eaten, presents and a cold winter's day. But most importantly you weren't going to be celebrating it alone since you have a certain swimmer whose spending the Christmas cheer with you.

|Haru|

Haru actually agreed to celebrating the holidays with you. You were so excited you screamed and jumped. You could tell he was excited also but that could just be your imagination since he had his usual monotone expression. You promised him that he'd enjoy it! You came over to his house for the holidays.

Haru cooked the both of a small dinner. Just some mackerel and tea. You didn't mind though it was just Haru being...Haru plus it didn't seem like he cared much.

While the two of you were eating it was quiet. The only sound was the two of you eating. This time you didn't feel awkward, you were actually excited. Why you ask? Because it was the perfect moment for you to give Haru his present! You made it yourself and you were pretty proud of it.

After finishing your food you let out a small cough revealing your mischievous smile. Haru looked up from his plate still having the same expression. "So Haru..? Christmas is the time when you spend time with your ones, eat food, and give presents!" You say exciting. "I got you one!" You said so happily you could barely contain yourself. "You did?" He asked in a monotone voice. "Um...Yeah! Did you not just hear me?" You said teasingly. Pulling out a small blue bag you hand it to him, "Here. Open it!" He took it out of your hand and began pulling out the matching tissue paper. You stood there watching his every movement, to see if his face made a slight change. Getting a reaction out of Haru was practically the hardest thing in this relationship and you weren't going to fail.

"Do you like it!?" You asked him loudly before he could answer.

The present you made him was a grayish scarf with a small hand-stitch dolphin at the end. You were so proud of yourself for how well you did on it you couldn't believe it. You looked at his face and you couldn't believe what you saw. Haru was there with the scarf already around his neck, holding it...with a smile on his face. He was smiling warmly with a small blush on his face, "I love it." He said softly. You were so shocked you didn't know what to say. "I-I'm really glad you do! I made it myself...So I'm really happy you like it that much..." You said with a bashful face. "I also got you a present." He said handing you a small wrapped box. Happily you began to open it, "Thanks so much Haru! You really didn't have to but I guess since you did~" You said before your eyes landed on your actual present.

You felt a nervous smile curl onto your lips, "You really shouldn't have..." You mumbled quietly. Haru's present was unique but...a mackerel plushie wasn't exactly what you had in mind but you still kept it either way. Smiling you threw your arms around Haru, "Thanks." You said with joy.

[Makoto]

You were a bit nervous. No. You were scared.

Makoto asked you if you'd like to spend Christmas with him and his family. You'd already met Ren and Ran but his parents. You weren't prepared for that. Makoto said that you'd be fine but you didn't believe him. You dressed up nicely but not too much. Just nice and simple. You love Makoto and you didn't want to make a first bad impression.

When you actually got there it wasn't what you expected. Of course you knew they weren't strict but it was more surprising. Makoto went in of course greeting his family. Not only were his parents and siblings there, there was others too. Cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents. Not only did you have to impress his parents but his other family members too. Makoto shot you a soft smile reassuring everything was going to be fine. You gulped and smiled widely waving slightly. Nervous was written all over your face but you still kept a smile.
