A/N: Hey, guys. I know that I haven't updated in like, forever, but I'm back. I've  been super busy and I don't think it would be right to say that I had a three month writer's block because that would be...( laughing nervously) hysterical. Anyway, school is nearly to an end so expect more updates. ;)

Recap: So, as you should know, Liam has found out about the school and found new people with their own abilities. Annie the witch, Davren the werewolf, and Gareth, the telekinetic. He just lost his parents and the strange people he met have come to his aid after almost being killed by some strange thugs.

Don't forget to vote and comment. I need the feedback, guys. I would also like to dedicate this chapter to a good friend of mine. Without her, I probably would have never gotten this done, hehe. Shia_LaBeouf , thanks a lot. :)

Once again, I awoke in Davren's dorm room. I had a head ache as if that hurt as much as being hit with a pan multiple times. I groaned as I sat up, putting the heel of my hand by the side of my head. Davren had been sleeping soundly on the ground with a blanket tangled around his legs. Gareth was sitting in Davren's desk chair with music blasting into his ears through head phones. He was tapping his fingers on the desk while reading a book. It was A Tale of Two Cities, levitated up in front of him. Pages flipping as he sped through the book.

He then realized that I was finally awake. He took off the head phones and grinned. "Hey. You're awake. You put up a bit of a fight with that guy. I respect that, but it was stupid of you." He got up. "You see, those men that killed your parents," I was then stung at the recollection of what had happened.

My eyes began to go watery and I felt like I was getting smaller. Shrinking. There was a sharp pain in my chest like I've never felt before. I looked back up at Gareth. He had a worried look on his face. "Never mind," he muttered. Then Davren mumbled something in his sleep, turning over. Then he actually got up and looked to see me, tears falling down my face, he grimaced slightly. "Can I just... be alone for a little bit? I just need some time to cope. Is that okay?"

Davren nodded. "Yeah, of course."  I watch as they leave the room and waited until I knew they were gone.

I got off of the bed and walked towards the door, turning the lock on the knob. I turn around and lean against the door, letting out a heavy, painful sigh as a lump forms in my throat. The image of my parents, they won't leave, as if I'm cursed to never forget and feel the guilt forever. I know that it isn't my fault, or is it? I grimaced and felt like a weight was just dropped on me, adding to the pain and pressure. I snapped my eyes shut tightly, bringing my knees to my chest. A bigger lump in my throat. I breathed in, letting out an unintentional sob with a sigh.

Who would have thought that anything would hurt like this? The tears burn my eyes, escaping as they run down my face now. I let out more quiet sobs and sniffles. Why did I leave them in the first place? Would I have died with them? Or would this not have happened at all?

After what seemed like hours, I found myself back in Davren's bed, knees still closed tight to my chest. My eyes were puffy and red, from the nonstop grieving in the form of tears. After I seemed to have calmed down, I felt a rumbling in my chest. A laughter erupting past my chapped, slightly cut lips. I continued to laugh, not being able to stop myself. I felt like I was driving myself insane.

The laughter only became more hysterical, louder. I heard knocking on the door, and I abruptly clamped a hand over my mouth. I felt tears running freely down my face. It wasn't enjoyable at all; my laughter was still muffled, my body shaking. It pained me to laugh, but it was involuntary. Just one of the ways I deal with grief and stressful situations.

"Liam? Liam, are you alright?" It was Davren. I released my mouth, only to let out a giggle, before closing it again. The doorknob then began to rattle, Davren on the other side knocking in a more urgent pace. "Liam, open the door. Please. C'mon, dude." I could finally relax again, not feeling like I would burst out laughing again. I shook my head no, aware that he couldn't even see me. He began knocking harder, still pleading for the door to be opened. I brought my hands up to my ears in an attempt to block out the noise, but to no avail. I cringed at the fact that my hearing only became more focused on the noise I wanted to escape.

I looked at the ground at the side of the bed. My shoes were neatly put together. How nice. I growled lowly, reaching for them. I sent daggers with my glare, hoping something would happen. What, exactly? I had no clue. The incessant, obnoxious knocking continued. I let out anther growl, lunging the first shoe at the door. I threw the next shoe,"Go away! I don't want to see anyone," I yelled. "Just leave me alone." I muttered bitterly, bringing my knees back to my chest.

I watched as the silhouette two feet began leaving. I reclined myself into a lying position, turning on my right side, facing the gray wall. I only felt annoyance staring at the dull wall, as if it was staring back at me, pitying me. I glared at it, I don't want that, I thought to myself. I refuse to be pitied.

Then, something unexpected happened. The paint was coming off; starting off small, then becoming a big streak of white. My eyes widened at the sight before me. D-did I do that?
