Chapter 5

Kendall's POV

"Kendall!" Katie said her eyes wide as the two boys laid passed out in front of us.

"What?" I asked innocently.

"They are going to kill us!" She hissed and walked over to Austin putting her ear against his chest.

I guess I do feel bad, I mean they were coming in here to make sure we were okay and then I punched both of them. I pressed my ear to Alex's chest hearing the steady best of his heart.

"Alex is fine." I said and I watched as Katie put her hand on Austin's cheek.

"I think Austin's okay." Katie said as she looked up at me worriedly.

"I messed up big time." I groaned as Katie nodded and I put my head into my hands just sitting there.

"Kendall." Katie hissed and I lifted my head up to see Austin slowly opening his eyes. 

"What did you do?" he growled as his eyes opened all the way and his gaze landed on me and he narrowed his eyes.

"It actually was both of us." Katie said and I turned to see her next to me now.

"Hey, keep your voices down." Alex groaned as he held his head and sat up.

"You two are trouble. Most of the victims just stay quiet and obey, but not you two." Austin growled as he struggled to get up.

"Why did you guys stay?" Alex asked as Austin helped him up.

"I don't know." I said with a shrug as I tucked my hair behind my ear.

I watched as Austin whispered something into Alex's ear and Alex nodded.

"We decided to separate you two." Austin said firmly as Katie's jaw dropped and her eyes widened.

"You can't do that!" she yelled and Austin glared at her.

"I can do whatever I want to. Like kill you." he growled and Katie looked to her feet.

"And that is why Katie, you are coming with me." Alex said as he put his hand out for Katie to take. She grabbed it carefully and Alex led her out of the room.

"Which means you're stuck with me." Austin said as he motioned for me to follow him. I followed him as he opened a door to a room. He walked in and closed the door behind us as he walked over to the bathroom and left the door open as he stared at me from the mirror. "Are you hungry?" he asked after a few minutes of just looking at me.

"Uh, yeah." I answered and he sighed walking past me as he opened the door motioning me to follow him.

We both walked down to the kitchen and I saw that Katie and Alex were already sitting there as Robert and Zach goofed off and were trying to make breakfast.

"You put the milk in first!" Zach said with a smile at Robert who chuckled and shook his head.

"You idiot, you put the cereal in first and then you pour the milk!" Robert said as he shoved Zach away and Alex watched them amused. Robert shook his head and chuckled as he poured some Cheerios into a bowl and then some milk. He grabbed a spoon and turned around as he gave it to Katie. "There ya go." he said and then turned to me. "Are you hungry?" he asked and I nodded and watched as he started to make another bowl of cereal. 

"Sit down." Austin ordered and I sat down next to Katie as Robert handed me my bowl of cereal.

"Thank you....." Katie said as she tried to think of his name.

"Robert." he said with a small smile and he turned back around as he watched Zach pour the milk and then the cereal. "You are an idiot." he said with a shake of his head.
