Chapter 9

I watched the clock my eyes tired.

11:22

Austin had gotten into the bed an hour ago and had slept with his back turned to me. I was extremely scared. The clock turned to 11:30 and I realized I had been starting to fall asleep. I refused to fall asleep and rubbed my tired eyes. I stared at the bathroom door and my eyes started to droop before they closed and I was sleeping. Then a though crossed my mind.

What if Austin kills me in my sleep?

My eyes shot open and I looked at the time.

11:59

I closed my eyes shut and let the tears fall as I heard the click of the time changing. The tears flowed harder as I opened one of my eyes to see it was midnight, also known as August 16th. I cried harder knowing that Kiara and Kendall weren't coming for me and I was a goner. I started to feel extremely drowsy and my eyes closed instantly and I passed out.

Kendall's POV

I sat on the end of my bed biting my nails as I tapped my foot to the beat of Kale's music coming from his room.

"Kale!!" I yelled and started to sob as I stared at the time.

9 o'clock.

Kale ran into my room worried as he looked at me.

"What's wrong?" Kale asked and sat next to me. I pointed to the clock next to my bed and Kale's face went pale as he saw the time. He started to cry gently as I wrapped my arms around his waist.

"It'll be okay." I soothed through my tears.

"It's all my fault." he sobbed and I shook my head as Kiara walked in the phone in her hand as she handed it to me.

"It's for you." she whispered and I took the phone putting it to my ear.

"Hello?" I asked confused.

"Hi, Kendall." I noticed the voice instantly.

"Zach." I gasped and I knew he was smiling.

"And Robert." He said and I heard Robert chuckling in the background. 

"Why are you calling?" I asked irritated.

"Just wanted you to hear Katie dying." he said and I could hear the smirk in his voice. I then heard a thud like somebody falling the the ground. 

Oh. My. Goodness.

I think they just killed Katie.

"Y-You won't g-get away with this." I stuttered as the tears flowed down my face.

"Bye, Kendall." he said and I heard him chuckled before hanging up. 

I looked over at Kale who looked shocked and then Kiara who was nervous.

"They killed Katie."

Katie's POV

I woke up and all I saw was Robert bent over me grunting as he was looking for something.

"Hey, she's up." I turned my head to the left to see Zach and Alex sitting on the floor as they watched Robert. 

There was a pain in my face and my left shoulder hurt badly.
