Kendall's POV
I walked down the steps my hair pulled into a bun as I yawned. I barely get any sleep with Katie gone.
I bet she's dead.
Please don't put that image in my head. I continued to argue with myself if Katie was fine or not.
"Kendall, ready for school?" Kale asked me as he walked down the steps. His jaw was tensed and his dark brown hair was styled up and his eyes scanned over me.
"Yeah." I sighed and he wrapped and arm around my shoulder and led me out the house.
"Kiara! Hurry!" he yelled and she ran down the steps walking past us to get into the car. She got into the car and put her ear buds in ignoring us as we got into the car.
"Let's go, Kale." I whispered as Kale pulled out of the driveway quickly to get to school.
We pulled into the school and Kiara got out and ran into the school as I followed her.
I ignored the looks of pity people shot me as I walked past them. I sighed in defeat and walked to the bathroom sitting down in one of the stalls as I sat and sobbed.

Kale's POV
I sat at my desk tapping my pencil on the edge of my desk.
"Kale Jones?" the teacher called out.
"Here." I said and I could feel the eyes on me. I just kept looking at the board and waited for the bell to ring so I could get out of this class.
"Kale."
"What." I snapped at the tiny girl who was sitting next to me. She looked taken aback but just handed me a stack of papers quietly and then turned so her side was facing me.
I took one paper and handed it to the kid next to me.
"Thanks, Kale." he smiled politely.
"Whatever." I grumbled and crossed my arms over my chest as I waited for the teacher to resume class again.
"Kale, please answer number 5 on the board." the teacher said and then the bell rang. I smiled at her and walked out of the door and going to the side of the school as my fellow peers hurried to their next class.
I leaned against the wall and lit my cigarette putting it to my lips as I deeply inhaled and exhaled slowly as I closed my eyes and leaned my head against the brick wall.
"Crap." I whispered and held the cigarette between my fingers as I thought of Katie and how she was being held captive because of my mistake.
My mistake
My mistake.
Mine.
My stupid addiction.
It's my fault.
I put the cigarette angrily into my mouth as I sucked in a large amount of the smoke and blew it out of my lips as a few silent tears rolled down my cheeks as reality kicked in.
It's my fault Katie might be dead.

Katie's POV
I slowly woke up and saw that it was completely dark outside and the only light coming into my tiny room in the cabin was from under the door.
