Seriously, stop. I don't care if it's some minor thing ex:
"she put on a green frilly dress that she felt looked amazing on her"
but when I have to wade through half a page filled up with useless, unnecessary, things i get a little P.O'd.
I don't care what color their shoes are, or how they stuff their purse; I care about their personality. I've seen things like: "I got up before my mom barged in and took a shower. After that I picked out a bright purple, not too purple but more of a lilac, colored dress with quarter length sleeves with red lace around the bust and a bow around my waist. There was also a slight tear from when I was eight and my dog jumped on me." A very brief, "I got up got ready and went to do stuff" would suffice.
Also while we're on the topic if every chapter has your character taking a shower then either you have a problem with time skips or the character needs to seek out help for their obvious cleanliness issues.
