The year went on. You made a few friends, but not best friends like (F/N). You start to get into the routine of waking up eairly and being on time for the bus. Each day you see (F/N), and sit beside her, half awake you always have a drowsy, stupid conversation, that when you look back on it (if you remember it) it made your side hurt from laughing.
You were late for your fare share of classes, most for stupid stuff like forgetting a pencil or going to the restroom. But you made it your duty not to be late for one class, math class with Mr. Burin. He really didn't like you. One day you needed a pencil because you had forgot yours, so you turned behind you to ask for one from a girl behind you, he caught you and gave you detention after school! Needless to say you missed the bus and had to walk 45 minutes in the cold rain. Of course (F/N) was kind enough to also get herself detention so you didn't have to walk home by yourself. She doesn't live too far away from you. Probably a five minutes east of your place.
But regardless your parents weren't too impressed with you and some phone calls to the school were made.
That was a bad day!

Since you are in middle school, you know that relationships were going to come and go. But you would not have imagined that they would come and go so quickly as they did (F/N)'s relationships with boys.
Although she did like each of them in their own way, the relationship never lasted because the boys would complain that they were second best in (F/N) life. Which she didn't deny, sending them over the roof. She would always spend more time with you than anyone, not even her family. You always wondered why, but never could answer yourself. You always find your self in these situations. Not being able to answer your own questions about your bestfriend. Although you have both been friends for nearly 10 years, you still didn't know much about her. She seemed to be so closed off still, still so secluded, still a mystery.

Your POV-

"Sooo.... why have you been at my house so often lately?" I asked trying to make the big question sound casual.
"I don't know. Why, do you not like it?" She responds sounding alittle hurt.
"Yes, I love hanging out with you just thought that your family or John might also like to hang out with you. I don't want to seem like a priority." I said trying to turn around the guilt.
(John is (F/N) current boyfriend for now)
"Nah! I am sure my family likes me hanging out here then around them!" She said joking and smiling.
"And what about John, you know.... your boyfriend"
"What about him, if he wants to be apart of my life then he needs to know that you are a big part of my life, and that you come first." She said strongly, gazing down at her toes she was painting a violet.
The room went quiet.
~gee, I hate awkward silence~

About 3 days later her and John broke up. Guess the reason. Am I a bad friend for being the main reason for my friends breakups? Even though I do nothing?

I don't date much. I haven't really meant anyone that I am attracted to. Plus the boys at my school aren't really the best people in the world to have as a first boyfriend (or girlfriend) or crush. But I am certain the day will come, with the right boy (or girl) beside it.
