Reached

The car ride to Yale is about 6 hours. So, what I do is 3 hours then take a break and then another 3 hours. I have just done 5 hours, only 1 left! I texted my mom that I am almost there. She texted back, okay please drive safe and I want you to call me every day okay? I replied, yes mom I know I know. She ended the conversation with, okay I love you bye.

I grabbed a quick muffin to eat and some hot chocolate and put on some music. While listening to Sabrina Carpenter, I gotta text from
Julia, Hey girl! I just got to the school last night. Omg it is so cool! There is just so much and it is incredibly exciting! Anyways how is ur trip goin? I replied, Fine I have about 30 minutes till I reach, and I am glad your having fun. But I will miss you!!! She replied saying, well I gotta go they are doing the introduction, but ya I am gonna miss u too which is why I will be texting and calling and video chatting non stop! I ended the conversation by saying, :) okay, go have fun, bye!

After about 45 minutes, I reached a tall building. Across the top was written Yale. There was a bunch of cars parked and a lot of kids all standing outside the doors. There was 1 tall lady in a pantsuit who was giving out little pieces of paper to each student. I am guessing those were our schedules. I stepped out of my car and walked over to the other kids. As I was walking I felt a bang and then I was on the ground. A girl wearing a mini skirt and pink flats stood up. "Omg, I am so sorry, I am just so clumsy and nervous!" She put out her hand and helped me up. "Hi I am Ashley, sorry we had to meet on the ground, are you okay?" She asked with a kind smile. "Oh, ya I am fine and I am Chloe, it is nice to meet you Ashley and don't worry I am totally nervous too," I replied. "Yeah, it is just so nervewracking to be in college, I mean it feels like the years just went by so fast. Sorry now I am talking like my mother" she said laughing. "It's okay, I am sure everyone here is nervous and I know what you mean. Yesterday felt like the 1st day of kindergarten and then today we are starting college," I said. "Well, I am so sorry again and thanks for making me feel a bit less nervous then I was before," she said starting to walk to the front door. I followed after her and together we approached the lady in the pantsuit. She said, "Okay, welcome everyone, and welcome to Yale university!" Everyone clapped. College here I come!
