Laurence's POV
As I walked toward Garroth and Aphmau I didn't think Garroth looked to happy to see me I wonder wh---- Wait Was He Going To Ask her????......Oh My Irene I'd feel real bad if he did.....
"Lady Aphmau I'll be here talking to Laurence, you should go to bed you seem tired." Said Garroth
"Alright I'll be checking the village in case and then I'll head home you guys should go rest as well." Aphmau then walked away.
"Laurence you should take the night shift I'll head to the guard tower.." Garroth walked toward the guard tower.
I stood there looking at the docks and the beautiful blue seas that sparkled In the moon light, I could see my reflection. I was alone sitting at the edge of the docks and kicking my feet in the water, alone with my thoughts. It has been hours at least still thinking of the day I became a Shadow knight and How I hold on to my Humanity thinking of the most beautiful girl in the world, the love of my life...Aphmau. I was still starring at the blue ocean when I see someone's reflection right there...It was Aphmau.
"Hey Laurence how come your alone?" She asked me with a beautiful smile on her face.
"I'm just thinking of things...."I responded.
"May I ask what is it your thinking about?" she asked.
I knew if I told her I was thinking of the nether she would blame herself....
I smiled at her. "Don't worry about it.." I told her.
"It's the nether Isn't it..."
I Knew I couldn't lie to her she just knows how I am from time to time I would think of it. "yes..." I told her.
She slightly frowned. "I'm sorry.." she said in a soft voice.
I wrapped my arms around her to comfort her. "It's okay I'm here now."
We looked into each other's eyes. I was about to lean in for a kiss when.....
"Umm, Laurence...Aphmau, what are you doing....." Garroth said walking toward us.
I sprang up out of where I was sitting. "We were just talking...Well thanks for the talk Aphmau." I said nervously.
"Y-yeah it was a great talk.....She also said nervously as she walked to Garroth.
"Lord Aphmau are you okay..?"
"yes Garroth I'm fine." her faces was bright red. "What are yo doing here Garroth? If you don't mind me asking."
"Lord Aphmau.. We have some news there is someone at the gates asking for you I believe..."
"I'll be right there Garroth just go tell Laurence and Dante that."
"I'm on it." He responded.
As Aphmau, Garroth, Myself and Dante approached the gates. I was wearing my helm, I was too embarrassed to be seen by Aphmau, After that situation earlier. Garroth looked at me and asked me why I was wearing my helm today , I've never worn it before. I told him I just don't feel comfortable right now with my appearance.
