Chapter 1..
"And I love you pet. Now off you go to scchool, you're going to be latee. No don't worrrry, I won't be tooo late home tonight..worrkk is just strrressful at the moment. Love you forrever sweetie."

And that was the last conversation Faith Norton ever had with her dad. The very last conversation. The slurred words just kept replaying inside her head, over and over again. However, she didn't feel anything inside. Not like she expected too feel. She expected to feel pain, grief. But she felt nothing. Just this throb, in the pit of her stomach, which drowned out everything else that was going on around her. It wasn't actually until the funeral when everything started to sink in. When she started processing the fact that she wasn't enough to make her dad happy. That she obviously wasn't as important to him as the alcohol or the drugs. Or the fact that he wanted to take his own life, more than he wanted to stay strong for his 12 year old daughter. She kind of felt angry in a way. Angry that he would leave her without knowing the reasons for his departure. And angry at the fact he said he would always love her. How can he love...when he's dead? Dead. He's dead. Gone, away, forever. And nothing, no-one - would ever be able to replace him.
Even if he was a helpless drunk that kicked and punched whoever and whatever got in his way. It was her fault he turned out like that.....
Okaaay so basically just deleted like re-wrote the whole of that.. oh well
